I was afraid of this lol. They were laughing at an emotionally dramatic scene. I understand considering how goofy this season is. They balance the comedy and drama better next season and beyond. Hard to take anything seriously when nothing seems to have any stakes(like how no one else in the town reacts or remembers the crazy stuff that happens) great episode guys

In the uncut it's a little clearer they are laughing in astonishment at what he's saying, it sinks in pretty quickly and they even commend Sarah on her performance.

Honestly dude... I've also wondered how the dramatic scenes will hit them, because I've been enjoying their reactions to the funny shit so much! They've been making it all even funnier. But will they be able to get immersed into the emotion when it comes? Idk... but this scene here isn't really indicative to me. I've never gotten emotional at it myself... so I wouldn't be too concerned. Especially if you watched their Agents of Shield reactions, they are pretty good at taking the emotional moments that count pretty seriously (especially rana).

I agree w Sir Deb. I have confidence they will definitely feel those sad/hard moments .. this one was understandable imo -- this scene was an ouch for Buffy and SMG really sold it, it's not near close to the moments in Buffy that really wreck you. I don't think it indicates anything.

well people live in dangerous cities like new york with no weapons or hand to hand combat. so saying this is unrealistic or just dumb kids being dumb kids isnt factual. fact is, unless you personally have been attacked or are just paranoid you arent walking around thinking "today im going to get murdered"

Whooo almost forgot to be annoying whoo guy..... almost done (always forget there's shorter episodes on the first season) with the season and still going, good episode today, not my fav buffy eps but its alright, im just enjoying other people slowly fall for this how as we all have lol
