I think this show utilizes the mockumentary format so well because everyone is SO aware of the camera lol

I really feel that some of Jim's prankings are justified, because in Diversity Day, Dwight literally stole a quarter of Jim's yearly commission, and he regularly tries to get Jim fired. Dwight does things that could genuinely hurt Jim's life, while Jim retaliates with mostly harmless pranks. Jim also tries to help Dwight feel better way more often than Dwight does for him (like when they talked at his car in The Fire - which was a bit of a joke, but part of Jim did want Dwight to realize it was less serious than he was making it, or in Office Olympics when Jim gave Dwight and Michael medals at the end, after they had an upsetting conversation in the car), which might not make up for all the pranks, but I think it shows that there's never malicious intent behind the pranks For some reason it won't let me reply to my own comment, but I wanted to agree with the first comment, as there must be a reason everyone in the office dislikes Dwight, it's far from just Jim. Dwight stole a quarter of Jim's commission, stripped them of sufficient health insurance, suggested Michael fire anyone but himself on Halloween, is often racist/homophobic/sexist, often suggested firing most of the employees and saying he would do it as soon as he was in charge, constantly needed to feel superior to others and tried to hold his little and imaginary power over other employees, and he did many other things that would be spoilers. I very much hold that Jim is at least partially justified in taking out the anger that Dwight himself inspires among all the employees.

Paying for just 20 min per week doesnt sound a good deal for us for such a long show. You must do double drops or i sadly feel i must stop paying for just only 20min per week...

I agree, I just wish they showed more of how Dwight makes everyone in the office miserable with his behaviour . It seems very one-sided most of the time.

I guess if they were only providing 20 minutes a week of content then you'd have a point. But they provide hours upon hours of content every week. You can always stop paying for their services if you aren't getting what you want.

how tf do you have time to write this, I don't even have time to read it

If you don't want to participate in a discussion then don't. But why bother replying and essentially accusing someone of having too much time when you're paying your hard earned money to sit and watch people you don't even know watch a tv show you've probably seen several times already?

reytan
>>89265352

If you signed up only for the uncuts of this one show and don't want to watch anything else, then it's not their fault that you're dissatisfied with what you're getting for your money and it's not their obligation to change anything about it. It's on you. This is not a 'The Office Reactions' Patreon. It's not the only thing they do or the sole focus and priority, and it was never advertised to be. What you think you paid for isn't what they're offering, so stop paying if you don't think it's worth it for you.

Just do what I do wait for instance I have not watch there Naruto reaction why because I'm waiting for them to be done then I will watch

>>89265352

Who's "us"? You and the 7 dodos who agree with you? Please, you don't even represent the majority here. No one is forcing you to pay, this is their schedule, they don't have to do anything just because you and your six friends bitch about it. And as others have pointed out, this is not a THE OFFICE only reaction channel. They do more than 20 minutes of content. Just because you don't like the other stuff that's on YOU, not The Normies.

You make stuff up in your head and then you respond to them...A therapist would be a good choice

There's a good argument to be made Jim shown restraint and these pranks are light punishment given what happened with the commission. I've known many people who get paid via commission and who would have thrown hands in Jim shoes.

there is a difference between tit for tat and bullying. dwight did this ONE thing in the past (diversity) so now that validates jim being able to bully him every day for the rest of his life???????????? as for him trying to get jim fired: 1. mike would never 2. most of that is done behind his back so jim doesnt even know for him to use that as a valid excuse. if someone comes for you have every right to defend yourself in THAT moment. but to attack that person every single day cause they got you that ONE time? BULLYING. a mature person would go "you got me, i got you back. we're done" but because jim is intolerant dwight being different "is annoying" so he and his partner in crime just keep going after him when those two amoral douchers need to jump off a cliff. there are two types of people in the world: the bullied and the bullies. its clear which one you were in school.....and since bullies never grow up.......... mmm hmmm

then just skip a few months. thats what i do. let some episodes rack up and then come back. only reason im here this month is cause blind wave got hit with the vid otherwise i wouldnt be here til november.......

ooooh violent thugs up in here. yall need buddha cause jesus has clearly failed you. grow a soul and some compassion. HR is a thing, if you have a ligitiment problem with a fellow employee you go to them and if they dont do anything you quit. thats what us sane, evolved, unbarbaric people do. i have been sexually harrassed at work. did i stoop to jim's neanderthal behavior? NOPE. i complained, they did nothing so i quit. my mother instilled in me this thing called self worth and silly green paper, anger, fighting and all this tomfoolery you people are cheering for and seemingly are engaging in in real life is not worth my serenity, peace and happiness. what you bullies need to understand is this: its not a joke if everyone isnt laughing........ apparently your parents never taught you to take the high road "when they go low we go high"- barrack obama. so sad so many of yall were raised white and not right. i pray oshun bring yall some inner peace and perspective. this world is fucked cause lack any form of empathy and compassion and the maturity to let bygones be bygones and to accept that its ok for people to be DIFFERENT and not fit in. we cant all be followers/conformers. if so, true art would never exist. aigoo

rickie woodson

to answer your question pat: people like jim cause apparently he is "attractive" (i dont see it) and cause he represents the average american aka an intolerant bully. jim is a normie, dwight is a weirdo. normies cant handle weirdos cause we are too real and cool so instead of letting us be they attack us for just being ourselves aka different. not our faults yall too whack and weak to be unique, stand out and not go with the mainstream. if you had a life of your own instead of copying others you would be too busy living your life to worry about what we be doing. me: saw a bunch of weirdos with dressed like they came out of an anime today. i didnt pull a prank or say anything to them. jim would never........ i got picked on for listening to kpop, for not knowing popular american singers, for reading comics, for not playing video games, for liking "white music", for liking "girl things", for not drinking, for not lying, for being blunt/transparent, for not jumping for joy when someone is KILLED cause "hey he's bin laden an evil man" yeah no boo boo this is how a weirdo thinks "im want an evil person to just not be evil any more or put away where they cant hurt anyone. that doesnt mean i want them to be dead or that when they die i cheer". normies = evil. weirdos = good. im keeping it wonder woman baby!

Dwight cost Jim 1/4 of his salary for the year. Most people would throw hands. Your rant really makes no sense.

Liking a fictional character in a mockumentary sitcom = being a bully, failed by Jesus. Thank you, Rickie. Now I've seen it all.

You're one the biggest weirdos here but the Normies seem to deal with you and your comments just fine

Chaos T

Rickie, this is a show about an office environment; not high school. It's apparent you've never worked in such an environment and you're projecting a lot of your insecurities and bigotry. Someone makes horrible decisions on medical care for everyone or actually takes money away from an employee, those employees have an absolute right to be angry at that individual. It would also be one thing if Dwight was being picked on out of nowhere but he puts himself in that situation by bullying others around him as well. In most private companies I've worked for if an employee sabotages a commission that employee would be fired or put on leave. Not only are you fucking with an employees money but also fucking with the money of the company. Nobody is calling for violence. My point is the situation is so extreme that I know many people who earned commissions and if in Jim's shoes would stoop to violence and I wouldn't fault them for it. Hell... I've personally seen two dudes almost come to blows at the idea of just splitting an important commission. That action screws with people's lives, takes food out of the mouth of children, etc. Even the idea you can just quit is a very child like mentality because people get stuck in jobs all the time for various reasons like health benefits or because they have children. Stop projecting your high school insecurities on real world, grown up issues. BTW, just because as adults we understand how the real world works and don't let what happened in high school define us doesn't mean people weren't bullied. Given the strong geek/nerd culture in these reaction channels I'm willing to bet most people here were bullied in high school in some capacity. I was bullied a lot so you really don't know what you're talking about.

I’ve honestly never seen a reaction group react with such questionable feelings towards Jim lol. His pranks are frequent, sure, but mostly harmless. Then he often goes out of his way to help Dwight (and Michael) when the rest of the Office is apathetic or ambivalent to their feelings/health. He is a slacker and a joker, be he is shown to be a good guy to pretty much everyone in the office with a good head on his shoulders when things are serious. Obviously he’s not perfect and things can go too far, but comparing him to early Dwight’s routine selfish desire to lord over others, consolidate power, and attain the most money (as mentioned in the Diversity episode), and it’s not even an argument for me. At the end of the day, they’re both great characters.

This was a wild ride that started at Jim and ended with Bin Laden. Impressive.

Yikes. First of all, sry to a inform you, but being a weirdo that goes against the mainstream isn't a personality, also, funnily enough, it's very mainstream. And secondly, you seem to have a LOT of serious shit bottled up that you're projecting onto a simple relationship between two characters that are highly exaggerated caricatures of popular stereotypes and that interact with each other within a sitcom. They're not real people and it's not meant to be taken seriously. Over the course of the show, Dwight regularly puts the physical well being of his colleagues knowingly at risk, he is often incredibly rude, distasteful and obnoxious to the people around him. Do we because of that judge his character and perceive him as the bad and unlikable person he would be in real life? No, of course not, so Jim isn't the devil for the things about him that, if he were real, would make him a seriously unreflected bully or worse who can be really full of himself. It's a ridiculous comedy series, that's just not how this type of show is supposed to be consumed.

A few weeks back I remember Mickey having such a big problem with him being a slacker, even though he and Dwight go back and forth being the top salesman at the branch. Lots of people give minimal effort at jobs they don't love and still do them well, just like Jim, but I thought it was so funny he felt Jim HAD to quit and go get a job he cared about because his laziness was unfair to the rest of the office.

Lmao you're the real life British immigration officer who got pissed processing John Krazinski's immigration papers entering the UK when he discovered my dude is married with kids to Emily Blunt, aren't you? Well, keep feeding your bitterness, it's clearly doing you wonders health-wise
