I can understand why they gave in to Brittania regardless of if everything they said about lelouch was real or not the black knights have no counter to the fleija which can decimate their entire forces in one blow. They might as well try to salvage whatever they can out of this hopeless situation.

It's one thing Chris so say but look at all the progress Zero made (they even say it in the show as his defense) but the counterargument they give to that is how many Japanese he killed with Euphy and also how he killed and/or brainwashed japanese leaders or blackight staff too meaning no one is safe from his murder or brainwashing not even allies. He also refused to tell others like Toto about the bomb in his self interested pursuit of Nunnely again not in the intrest of his team or japan. The argument of "well look at the good he's done" ignorantly ignores all of that or what could happen further with a leader who doesn't care about you and could likely just take your mind. That along with the prince and princess agreeing to help the Blacknights have japan made them realize Zero is not good for them.

Look, look….. I would feel bad for Nina if she only designed the bomb in the theory period, you know pure mathematics and pre-test design. BUT SHE WAS PRESENT FOR THE TEST FIRINGS! I think that scene with Lelouch yelling at Rolo that he’s fake and hates his guts is still one of the most powerful scenes in all of anime

I would say her having a massive disconnect from reality is still grounds to feel bad to varying degrees. Most people who build weapons of death don’t actually comprehend how many lives they are going to be responsible for killing

Because they don’t want a guy who can alter their minds sitting next to them and giving them orders anymore? With the evidence presented to them lelouch is responsible for the deaths of multiple people they care about, and they have no way of knowing how much he actively led people to knowing deaths like he did with that old Japan liberation front general

Lelouch was ready to die at that point, so he wanted to at least save Kallen so she wouldn’t die with him. He didn’t expect Rolo to save him at all. Lelouch 100% accepted death.

Plus, these last 5 episodes is what makes Code Geass one of the best animes of all time. Literal art in motion.

I don't know why Nina's so upset. She got exactly what she wanted. A metric shit ton of dead "elevens". Also fun fact: There's no radiation after a FLEIJA, that absolute Uber Nuke just takes everything within its radius and erases it from existence. You can't even call it an explosion or an implosion, one second there's a flash of light and the next it's like that chunk of the world never existed. Probably one of my favorite weapons from anime because of how absolute it is.

FLEIJA is basically the perfect weapon of mass destruction because no radiation and only pure disintegration. Also a part of why the casualties was so high was because the FLEIJA was shot right towards the center of the city. Because Suzaku was under the influence of Geass, he just shot in the direction of Kallen, who happened to be in the direction of the city's center. So in reality, the FLEIJA was supposed to be fired TOWARDS the sea, where the Black Knights were advancing on Tokyo in order to avoid civilian casualties.

Nia was surprised as the Fleija was supposed to be fired at the black knight army, flying over the sea. Meaning minimal civilian casualties from the city outskirts, so mostly 'elevens'. But Suzaku launched it in the city's centre, in the 'good' area where Kallen just escaped from, on top of the city hall where all the officials were. Killing lots of Britannians and wiping out the city centre. Remember, in the last episode, that woman asked, "why did they fire the Fleija here?" Suzaku's "live order" made him fire at the closest enemy that was about to kill him, not the large army that was invading across the sea to attack the whole country. Since he and Kallen were right about the city centre, that's where it detonated.

Well the black knights never actually allied to the JLF for one thing. The four holy swords were never part of the black knights at the time that Zero used his geass at the hotel jacking and the fight with Cornelia at that docking bay. The only person within the black knights he used geass on are Kallen, Orange and Sayako the maid currently, at the top of my head. But yeah mojo right about that. I think that’s what truly got them Edit: oh wait Villeta too but she is also not a black knight. Yet there she is following Ohgi so I don’t know man lol

That’s not true. Lelouch had no idea about FLEIJA. Remember he disregarded Suzaku when he tried to warn him about it because he was Uber upset about his friend’s betrayal. He only realised his mistake when the bomb was launched. Too little too late to tell Todo and the rest

To be honest it was well played by Schneizel, he completely fooled them into falling right into his hands, which wasn’t that hard, some lies with some truth and the black knights fall apart lol Nicely done

I still absolutely love the animation of Lelouch getting into the Shinkiro after Rollo refuses him. It's so smooth and very satisfying to look at.
