After the crew were lukewarm about Innocence, I don't have high hopes for the Passion reaction. They seem to only want Buffy to be a goofy 90s monster show and can't take the serious episodes seriously.

Sadly, I have to agree. I don't think they have the right vibe/mindset to watch Buffy tbh. I do love this crew--the first reactors I ever found online, years ago, and I've even run into a couple of them in real life randomly. But they're a lot of details they don't catch, and they don't take the serious stuff seriously enough. But it is what it is. Who knows, maybe things will change! (I can also give recs for other Buffy reactors if you're interested)

My favourite episode of Season 2 is actually I Only Have Eyes For You and I am genuinely concerned they will just laugh at it lol

Oh dear... That's such a great episode! But yeah, I have feeling you're right... 😭 Like, if I'd never seen Buffy, and then got high with a bunch of rowdy friends and watched that episode--that's kind of the vibe I'm expecting... 😞

Maybe they just need time to "adjust" to the show's serious tone. And tbh, they wont have any other choice or they are gonna have a bad awakening in late S5. I'm sure they wont laugh through THAT ep....
