Agree to disagree. I think Rebels does not have the highs of clones wars but it also does not have the lows, it's more consitintly good. And I would personally rate it overall higher.

I'm sure they will enjoy Rebels, I did too. I agree Tyfighter, regarding those episodes. But it's Adult Swim vs Disney XD y'all. George Lucas era vs post-Disney acquisition Star Wars. I mean....

The best of Rebels is as good (if not better) as the best of Clone Wars. In my opinion at least

i cant quite agree with that, while rebels is good, i dont think any of it truly matches up to some stuff in the last 4 seasons of clone wars, but its definitely still worth the watch

Rebels is great, and it has important moments that tie into the other shows. S1 a little rough, but 2-4 is consistently good. If anything ask Eric and Aaron too. They will probably say it is essential. Also Rick surprisingly likes Rebels more than CW.

Rebels is more consistent I would say in its quality. Especially because you stick with one crew the whole time and aren’t jumping around everywhere.

Rebels can't touch clone wars in pretty much any regard imo but it is essential viewing for anyone trying to follow and keep up with star wars.

Disagree with Rebels not being nearly as good as Clone Wars - the first season is pretty uneven (which was certainly true of the early seasons of Clone Wars, too) and the show as a whole has a tone for a younger audience (especially compared to this season of Clone Wars), but once it finds its footing, it's great Star Wars content -- and the dark / heavy episodes it does get are just as solid as the ones in this show. I would have rated the two shows pretty evenly until the final arc of Season Seven Clone Wars came out and gave that series the edge.
