You've finally reached the best episode in all of Buffy. It's all downhill from here unfortunately

George Parker

I’ve got to ask are you all ever going to provide Angel reactions on YouTube? A lot of us really want that. Can you all at least let us know if that’s in the pipeline or not?

Blake

I actually really like this Buffy episode. SMG does not get enough credit for how well she plays humorous roles. She's hilarious.

hasty rewrite

This is the ultimate "so bad it's good" episode of Buffy. The show has dozens of genuinely great eps, but it also has some "dumb but fun" ones, and this is the best of that genre haha. I honestly don't care that the premise is ridiculous and the "message" is absurdly heavy-handed. The hilarious stupidity of it all makes up for it. There are so many laugh out loud moments and Sarah Michelle Gellar is amazingly funny in this one even though the material is extremely broad!!! xD

Alicia

I hated this episode then, I still hate this episode now but it gave me Parker getting bonked on the head twice so it's a masterpiece for that.

hannemanart

This is the closest "A Very Special Episode" that Buffy has ever done. You know those "special episodes" in teen shows about drugs, sex, drinking... It's a teen network thing

mary smith

Buffy's D.A.R.E episode

Sonia

Most underrated episode of the Buffyverse (ok that's maybe a hyperbole lol). Not because it's THAT good (it's such good dumb fun though), but because it's nowhere near THAT bad, I don't think it even comes close to deserving the "worst episode of Buffy" moniker it's gotten all those years. I particularly love how the writers play around with the constraint of having to make a PSA episode, they clearly are not taking it seriously. And another SMG comedic performance that is better than half the performance that get nominated for Emmys

Chaos T

"Beer Bad" is so bad it's enjoyable. It always felt to me like the writers wrote this episode as an intentionally bad PSA for network TV.

Paradoxhamartia

Watched this one while cosplaying as Suraj (ate a banana). Also Buffy, pathetic much? Constantly daydreaming countless scenarios about some romantic interest that will never genuinely love you back? Who even does that? Hahahahaha...hahaha...ha. Dammit.

Giuseppe D

Congratulations, you survived the worst rated Buffy episode of the whole show, and if you're still watching at this point you can consider yourselves True Fans. 😜

Very excited for next week’s Young Justice episode

Important information to discuss about today's Buffy episode... Beer no good, pizza good! Me no like beer. Me like pizza! Pizza very good, make belly happy! Beer yucky! Pizza yum-yum! Meat, cheese, sauce on dough make big smile on face! Beer make head hurt, make stomach sick. Pizza make happy, make tummy full.

Alison

Finally a reactor remembered the Willy Wonka Veruca character. I WANT IT NOW!!!

BradBoimler

This was a good episode of Young Justice show a lot off growing with the team next episode is one of the best of the season. Failsafe

Shirlene Wright

I love this episode. Willow is so great. Buffy knocking Parker up side the head.. twice! Who hasn’t felt like doing that to someone who slipped through our defenses and 💩 all over the place. Parker lived. He is fine.

Brandon Gibbs

The YJ debut episode of ZATANNA!!!🎩

rickie woodson

you learned about bio engineering and the firmament and social economics of things. soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo educational lol. as much as yall hated those guys, i love them. intellectuals are hot. philosophical conversations are fascinating. get rid of the beer and that is my kind of party. sit around and wax poetic and pontificate about all aspects of anthropology. sigh, where is my professor

Cory Stanish

The actress who played the ghost lady was also in Donnie Darko, if you've seen it you will remember her as the woman who doubts your commitment to Sparklemotion. She's also a favorite of Bryan Fuller and has appeared in every one of his shows: Wonderfalls, Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, American Gods, even the unproduced The Munsters pilot he did. In at least 3 of those shows she played the same character. Also, you have now met one of my low-key favorite recurring minor characters: Phantom Dennis. Remember, this episode came out in 1999 when Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace came out, so "Phantom Dennis" was a timely rhyming gag. Best. Roommate. Ever.

The Office of National Drug Control Policy offered money to any show that would make an episode criticizing drug or alcohol use so they made this episode lol They didn't give them the money cause they thought teens were too stupid to realize the obvious metaphors XD

Blake

Also lack of communication has nothing to do with what happened. Parker was a manipulative predator who consciously misled and lied to Buffy, and then tried to do the exact same thing with Willow, in order to get her to do something that he wanted.

Aadit Doshi

Oh no! if they were going to watch 16, micky's gonna miss it :/

Daniel R

YOUNG JUSTICE!!!

@eric.na.goo.yen

I legit go through each week waiting for Thursdays for Young Justice reaction videos. I feel like Dave Chappelle’s Tyrone Biggums friending for more drugs 💀

CWall

Ah yes, the gold standard in BTVS episodes has finally arrived.

CWall

Once again, if you want to see more Sportsmaster look into Stargirl on HBOMAX.

Nathan Robertson

The Clinton Administration that year offered cash money for every youth marketed TV show that would do an anti-drug propaganda episode. The WB made every single series on its network make one and then instantly jizzed in its pants. They didn't get any money for the Buffy episode, though, since it was clearly a parody of an anti-drug propaganda episode. "No, beer bad! Bad, bad beer! ...What the hell am I saying?! Buffy, you need to go home." "Now, what did we learn about beer?" "Foamy!!!" "Good. Just as long as that's clear."

K Murray

Buffy strong.

DF

Did I miss a schedule change? Usually we get Rebels on Thursdays, no? I'm dumb.

What was shown in this episode was more than just "intelligent" people talking; which they weren't really intelligent anyway. They were putting someone down because of their profession and trying to make themselves look better by using pseudointellectual gobblygook against Xander. Those types of people aren't attractive at all and at it's core that behavior is bullying behavior. Those types of pseudointellectuals are easy to take down because once you get past their original argument, they fall apart because they don't have enough knowledge to support the thing they just read in a college textbook. Most of the time their ilk has surface level knowledge. "Good Will Hunting" did a great job showing that concept.

Thank you for that information! It confirmed my suspicion about this episode and it's now a top tier Buffy episode for me.

Blake

I love Red Tornado "The premise of your question is flawed. You were never human, but you were heroes." Such a great line and one of my favourites of the series.

bits

Hey, they can't all be winners on Buffy 😂 You're in for a fun story run coming up though! I LOOOVE this episode of Angel.

David NJ

Not the best episode, but you are just 5 episodes away from Buffy greatness!

Frankie H

I was thinking the exact same thing that Marketa said at the end of the Young Justice episode, that it would be awesome if they had a scene of the Light just really freaking out in alarm because for once things didn't go to plan. Just a scene of the light cursing and bickering with each other. That would have been hilarious. The writers missed a golden opportunity this episode.

Ricardo Obregon

Wooo! Buffy Thursday! and its drunk buffy, lol this is a fun episode, also kal penn is in this episode, also glad to see the end of the parker story, and the begining of the solider arc.... Also very important this is also the episode to one of my all time favorite songs and its in this episode. The Band the wolf girl is in is a real band (minus the lead singer) the band and the song is : THC "Overboard" the album is Adiago

This episode was not apart of the Light's plot hence no reference to them at the end. This was just a rogue robot trying to wipe out all life on earth.

Daniel R

Pat getting "A Room with a View" before anyone else slays me lol
