Ted Lasso to Cobra Kai!! (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

We have a lot of ground to cover so lets jump in.

Ted Lasso is done which means we have room for a new show (YAY!)

Here's the skinny with Cobra Kai - It was brought to our attention that we absolutely HAD to watch the Karate Kid movies prior to reacting to Cobra Kai which is the plan.

There will be a 1-week gap between Ted Lasso ending and Karate Kid Part 1 starting which is this week (8/7-8/11) We are splitting up the movies into halves (Part 1 & Part 2 etc)  because this is taking place of a show reaction rather than a movie reaction.

Once we have finished the Karate Kid series, we will begin publishing Cobra Kai! (We estimate it will be around late September).

Luckily we have an array of content for you to browse through but we get it if you need some time to process the ending of such a great show 🥹

This is the best possible way to watch Cobra Kai! It’s so worth it, can’t wait for the reactions!!

Alex

Thanks for the update! Can’t wait to see your reactions to the OG karate kid movies.

Toby

You can skip the latest Karate Kid movie with Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan, it's not part of the backstory and groundwork for the series. Looking forward to your reactions to this (and to Beef)!

Jayla

Spilt into halves?!? 🤔

Anansi

Hope you guys watch Karate kid 1-3, as the fourth one with Hilary Swank is not necessary.

Anansi

Also, why do the movie reactions have to be split up into halves? I get it with like LOTR special editions, but Karate kid is relatively short?

Alondra Ochoa

Ni al caso lo de partir las películas pero ps que se le va a hacer

Yeah but the movies are still around 2 hours long, meaning they would take much longer to edit than an episode of Cobra Kai

Zen Reacts

Ah good Cobra Kai. The sub is safe for a while longer

Which part of the post clarifies that they are only watching 1-3, which is what my comment was about?

CWall

So what’s out today?

Jayla

So nothing is out for today?

Garrett Gee

castlevania will come out, kobra starts next week

CodePhoenix13

So are the first part of the Karate Kid movie reaction starting next week or later today

Ashleep

I am bummed we have to wait to start the Netlix series so that the movies can be watched (I am someone who got into the show without having watched the original films except maybe once in childhood), but I am very glad that eventually we'll get there! Yay!

Chaos T

Can't wait until the crew experiences the best live action anime. Strike first. Strike hard. No mercy!

A. Saffari

This is the best way to do it. Show hit's harder if you've experienced the movies first.

G W

Crap!

Fatherlord

I'd personally would rather wait a week between full movies than get them in parts, but this works too

Macs

I really wish they had gone with my suggestion of 1 movie 1 season, so first movie then first season second movie second season etc

Kamina 1

Why did you guys tell them that they absolutely HAD to watch all 3 of the movies before starting the show? Even Karate Kid 3? 😂 Movies being split into parts now. Good job fans. Really good job 👏🏽 you played yourselves.
