unfortunately it's not up on the normie website Edit: If it doesn't show up on your end, try clicking on a premium show first. The website will then prompt you to allow authorization through patreon. I was confused because every other movie was avaible without logging in first

Stealth_

Looking forward to Pat's reactions to this one

Clément

This ending is amazing

Fr. I watched this movie about year ago for the first time and I instantly thought of Pat

Faction Paradox

They missed the post credits scene where RJ is revealed to be Snake Pliskin the living planet

Ethan Vaughn

Day made! Thank you, Normies!

Lachlan Smith

Just about died laughing at Chris's look at the camera when the dog first appeared on screen and Prat goes "If that the thing we gucci!"

@eric.na.goo.yen

Oh boy. Thank y’all for this pleasant surprise 🙏

My favorite detail is that you can hear the keys fall on the floor when Windows gets scared, that's why noone can account for its whereabouts.

Sage

More classic horror

Calvin Allen

Windows looks like white Mickey

John Pavlich

So, we have Windows and Mac. Windows froze and had to be shut down. Mac prevailed, so I guess that means The Thing is Linux. :)

Balmung

As a reminder, there IS a prequel movie, and it's pretty good. Meaning, the 2011 movie is NOT a remake

Jackie Gibson

Aw yesssss my of my all time favorite horror movies 🔥🔥🔥

Overload

I mean if we’re going back to horror movies can we at least finish IT, it was called Part 1 for a reason

I prefer how the book is both timelines, going back and forth like Lost. If ever there was justification for an Irishman-length epic, it was IT.

cosmotron

Y'all talking about Haunting of Hill House reminds me that you guys still need to react to Bly Manor and Midnight Mass. Both different but very good.

Chaos T

This reaction was entertaining af. It's always fun seeing Pat react to a horror film. Also, "Hereditary" would be an amazing reaction.

Yesss omfg I needed this! This is like the ultimate paranoia movie, back in the era when movies had no interference in production from studios and the directors were also the writers John Carpenter does all his movie’s soundtracks, he wants them to be like wallpaper blending into the background and not distracting the audience (he’s also a huge gamer). All the effects aside from a few stop motion bits were totally practical without CGI and the guys working on them were total rookies in the industry Great discussion, love Navi and Suraj’s questions! You guys always do really fun and thoughtful breakdowns of the films you watch, appreciate you guys looking at the Wikipedia page to add to the discussion. Another Horror movie poll please! I nominate The Exorcist 😊 (also appreciate you guys donating to SAG)

Macs

nice

Yeah why arent more people saying this! There ABSOLUTELY is another movie for yall to watch!!

sheriffjt

If you like John Carpenter and Keith David, try They Live Also, the game show was Let's Make a Deal, hosted by Monty Hall.

Pro_Hero

Awsome reaction, unfortunately there is a prequel film in like 2010 or 11

Champion Bescos

Hell yes! One of my favorite horror films ever and an incredible, legendary use of practical effects throughout. Fun fact, this film heavily inspired Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight.

StlawHatRuffy

#SundayRundown The thing better than alien

Kay Bee Baby

This was so awesome, this is one of my favorite movies of all time. Now if they would watch the first Hellraiser…

Pinoyjonc316

Can y'all do more movie reaction to movie's that can actually be streamed. I really don't like having to purchase or rent a movie to watch the full reaction. I mostly skip any reaction y'all do that I can't stream somewhere without an extra purchase.

kristin smith

loved this reaction, one of my all time favorite movies! requesting ya'll PLEASE watch the 2011 The Thing as it is not a remake but is a pretty interesting prequel. I love how it explains most of the stuff you see in this movie

Edward
>>115592787

glad you mentioned that cause i actually like 2011 the thing and think it ties into this movie perfectly

Dspade

Please watch Alien next.

Pajander

This was 40 years ago. Imagine what we could do today if we didn't try to use CGI for everything. The 2011 prequel was supposed to be mostly practical effects, but some studio execs or test audiences were like "why is there no cheap ass CGI in this", so they literally painted shitty, rushed effects over the already finished practicals.

William Moffett

Rana and Navi are straight glowin'. Do you ladies bathe in coconut oil or something? haha

Jakari24

You guys need to react to “The Descent”! Preferably the one with the UK ending

Daniel R

one of the best movie reactions from you guys!

BT

THERE IS A PREQUEL, 2011! Not as good as the 1st one but still a good watch!

Maggie

Great reaction!

Christine Ester

I always believed Blair was being assimilated slowly because he was doing the autopsy.

Except that's impossible. They have viewers from all over the world and what's streaming for free/at all and where is different for each location. The Thing may not be streaming for you in your country, but it is in others, and there are plenty of times it'll be the other way around.
