this episode cemented in my mind who i am characterwise: jasmine and huey blended together but at a lower setting lol like im a 6. like jasmine, super moral and innocent and like huey, i wont miss an opportunity to turn something into a teaching moment/act of activism even if it ends poorly like it did with the kid trying to unionize. sigh been there before countless times. stay innocent jazz and keep fighting the good fight huey! we can lose a few battles as long as we can win the war

opinion: michael feels under appreciated and it took him being threatened with a "replacement" for him to have this melt down. thats why that gesture from wallis wasnt enough for him, cause he didnt get why michael was upset. it wasnt the party but thats all wallis could see, the surface level "he's mad he didnt get an anniversary party" not the "i look down upon michael thats why i hired this new guy to basically do this job for him and micro manage".
