Chris was not wrong that the previous episode was the last time we saw Ahsoka for a very long time and her survival was questionable... But Season 7 of Clone Wars takes place before this, so seeing her there had no relevance on whether she survived here.

Why is her survival at the end of S2 questionable? We can see both of them walking away from that fight at the end of the episode.

At the time, a LOT of the fandom couldn’t determine if that was her or her Force ghost as it wasn’t very clear. She wasn’t on screen for very long. Filoni would even wear shirts that said something to the effect of “She lives?” at cons and events. That question mark was huge for a while. Edit to add: Some people thought it was clear cut. Some people did not as it wasn’t definitively stated that she survived. The arguments, like most online, grew intense.

Oooh, yeah, I'd be VERY careful about Googling anything from Rebels Season 3 onward if you guys want to avoid spoilers. Honestly, I'd avoid Googling stuff entirely, or have a 3rd party do it. Pretty sure Rana and Mickey accidentally stumbled into a spoiler that they just barely managed to catch from sharing with the rest of the couch.
