Hi guys! I want you to imagine being a therapist in this world where severance is real and there are people considering it. How would you react if a patient came up to you and asked if you recommend it as a treatment for serious issues like PTSD or psychosis(and others)? Would you ever think it as a possible treatment? Do you imagine it changing how you treat people, specially those who have undergone the procedure? I'm curious to see how this fictional scenario could impact the world of psychology.

hey tom! so in the universe of Severance clearly the actual severance process is highly contentious, on par with our real world politics on identity. what do you think would be your stance on severance in that universe? this is not meant to spark a debate on what is right or wrong i think i would be okay with the idea of consenting adults getting the Severance procedure, however i do not trust the good will of corporations to be in charge of near infantile human beings. we in the real world cannot trust even government agencies to protect its own people in the real world, let alone put our trust in a clandestine secretive super corporation.

is there a character, whether they’re still in the show or not, that you look forward to/wish that there had been more character development on? i feel Petey was gone so quick, but am excited to hopefully hear more on Milchick’s story! also, if you were a wellness director at Lumon, how would you conduct a wellness session in a way that is beneficial to the mental health of an innie? i feel that innies hearing “facts” about their outies and having points deducted when showing emotion might not be as restorative as it’s intended.
