Kafkaesque adjective : of, relating to, or suggestive of Franz Kafka or his writings especially : having a nightmarishly complex, bizarre, or illogical quality

Jesse is FULLY right about the pay factor. The idea of “I created the business, I assume the risk” is an entirely fabricated belief as it ignores every sociological factor that led to there. If you look at business owners, 999/1000 times they were more advantaged to begin with. Further, the idea that the employees are not assuming the risk while they are the ones 1.) generating every ounce of the wealth 2.) who are reliant on each and every paycheck they receive 3.) breaking their bodies to create said wealth Is shortsighted This is why I advocate so heavily for cooperatively owned business. As long as a role is crucial to the survival of the business then they deserve equal stake in said business. All profits to the owners are the unpaid wages stolen from their employees. The idea of “well if you don’t like it you can work somewhere else” is a way to exonerate the mind from knowing they’re actively exploiting their employees. My favorite tattoo I have is one commemorating the Bread and Roses Riots in American history. Here the poorest Americans, most women and most immigrants, dragged the largest textile industry on earth to its knees over a few cents raise. These women knew they were being exploited and they acted, because of that and thousands more brave riots and strikes we now have weekends, child labor laws, workplace safety regulation, minimum wage, etc etc. Power to the people now and forever.

Its time for breaking bad 🤌🤌

So excited that you are considering starting BCS, it's me and my spouse favorite show. Mainly because we started a business long ago and struggled a lot with it at the beginning. You kind of see that in BCS how hard it is to get clients at the beginning.

Walter is lowkey suicidal at times. I don’t know what to make of his car scene

"Kafkaesque" continues the themes of the previous episode. Walt, deep down, knows that it is not salvation and security for his family that he has bartered. It is a literal deal with the devil, and his damnation, in terms of what he said some episodes ago....that he did not want to be the bad guy. So he closes his eyes and puts his foot on the pedal to the metal. Somewhere deep down he knows that if he just dies, it might be for the best, like in the "Fly" episode he came to that realization, but the perfect time passed him by. He tells Jesse that if he died after meeting Jane's father, it would have been perfect. Why? Because right after he goes back to Jesse's place and accidentally causes the conditions of Jane's death, and willfully refuses to turn her back on her side so she wouldn't choke. Walt wanted Jane to die for a myriad of reasons, but to Walt it meant the eternal guilt of the fly, the eye of God watching him, and there is no turning back, after the bar encounter, he ignored the signs of something else above the chaos. But his preservation instinct, his drive to live, or maybe his cowardice, something else make him open his eyes just in time to avoid the certain crash and death.

The thing is, Gus doesn't need Walter and Jesse, before knowing them he already had a fully working operation overseeing a large territory making hundreds of millions on the regular. Yes he is a smart man, so if he can upgrade the quality of his meth, he will do so, and it might help him have a stronger chess piece in the overall drug chessboard. Still, he doesn't need walter and jesse. But these two, we saw it times and times again, without Gus they risk death and being arrested only for change money compared to what they make now. Countless times we got shown, the hard part is not making a lot of meth, it's selling it. That's the reality of it, what Gus brings to the table, requires a lot more planning and sophistication over years, just think about what they risked with the burglary and other shenanigans to get just a fraction of the equipment and rough ingredients that they now have in the lab.

That’s the thing about businessmen, there’s never enough for them. If he didn’t need Walt and Jesse he wouldn’t hire him but because his goal is supremacy he deems Walt’s meth as necessary. They are the ones using his multi million dollar underground lab, until that changes they deserve their equal share.

You're 100% wrong. Gus HAD Gale but staked his entire $9 million lab into an unstable, equally egotistical man. The capitalist pigs have no operation without the cooks and dealers. "Los Pollos Hermanos" wouldn't exist without the frycooks and neither would Gus' meth business. The cooks were so important as a matter of fact, Gus was willing to put $9 million into a hole in the ground with no promise of return. Gus knowing he was looking at a potential 900% return, it stands to reason that a NECESSARY requirement for the operation might be worth 10% or more of potential returns.
