Luke Fitton

I’m not sure if the Governor’s story about how his wife died was even true. I feel like it was an attempt to relate to Rick because of how he lost Lori to make Rick lower his guard and be more trusting.

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

andrea literally makes me soo angry. her telling the governor ricks personal business is both dumb & extremely disrespectful. she doesn’t have a loyal bone in her body. she doesn’t even know the governor yet she’s blindly loyal to him it makes no sense! just an idiot smh like what would possess her to do that!? she always tries to insert herself into other people’s business. she has no authority! she wants to be important so bad but she isn’t and she can’t stand not being the center of attention. ugh anyway but besides her being a DINGBAT it was nice seeing both groups interact and realize that the governor is the problem. rick is such a cop i love him lol he’s sooo good at reading people and assessing situations. the governor is real life insane. he truly doesn’t think he’s wrong or has done anything wrong. like who tf are you to tell people what they can and can’t do and where to go? his audacity baffles me. and merle was right about that, you can’t reason with crazy and the governor is crazy. people like him need to be killed there is no negotiating with people like that.

Skyler

"Im sorry, I am taking it personally" Tom this just means you are invested in the story & our beloved group! Nothing wrong with caring about these characters that we have spent hours watching & getting to know. We all hate the governor for what he did to our girl Maggie! And sometimes our innate morality or education gets thrown out the window during this show lol. I do love seeing the governor try these "nice guy" or "i mean no harm" tactics against Rick, and Rick seeing through him the whole time! Rick is far from stupid, he observes & sees a lot without revealing what he truly sees. I love his character :)

Sussie

Andrea, voice of reason… 😂

Korivex

I don't blame Rick for considering this offer. It isn't much different than two countries at war.... they negotiate and ask for stuff and the leader has to decide if they want the deal or to continue with war. It is a hard decision... even thought I don't want him to do it, I just understand why he is considering it. Andrea didn't 'want' to go back to Woodbury, she just knew if she didn't... the negotiations would be over. Ever notice... the picture of the Governor and his family... how much Andrea looks like his late wife.

Reaction Therapy

Andrea has stayed this way the entire show😩😩😩 And the governor just keeps feeding people the same narrative 😡

Josie

Andrea is a dumb cow.. STRONG DISLIKE hahaha

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

andrea is literally the worst lol she’s only got worse, not better in any way. and the governor is psychotic!! idk how people can’t see through his bs

Brittany Lewandowski

Andrea never would have ended up like she does if Dale hadn't manipulated her into leaving the CDC. More reason i despise Dale. OK but also (and i jsut picked it up) Rick going "I dont pretend to be a governor' But he became a Dictator which is way worse lmfao. I find it really funny. Also I do think it's weird we give the Governor no grace for locking his walker daughter up but its given to Hershal for doing the same with his family in the barn, holding onto the same hope hershal did. * The governor still sucks though

AJ

I agree. He even goes on to say that he didn't choose to be a leader, he just happened to be around at the time which is something Rick has expressed in the past. I think it's a story curated from pieces of information he's gathered from Andrea most likely in order to disarm Rick

Waddle Masters

I actually liked Dale regardless of whether he was in the right or wrong, but ANDREA is just the worst!

Angelica Albanese

This story happens to be one of the few things he doesn't lie about. His wife dies about 18 months before the start of the apocalypse, she dies in a car crash. There's a book that goes into Philip's backstory pre-Woodbury that's set in the AMC TWD universe and his wife's accident is mentioned a few times throughout the novel.

Luke Fitton

Honestly that makes sense as that’d be an incredibly clever narrative for the Governor to just come up with on the fly, though I still believe that it was stated in an effort to gain a bit of sympathy from Rick and appear less one-dimensional so that his “deal” might actually be trustworthy.

Angelica Albanese

Man this episode does a really good job at keeping us on edge.

PJ Playhouse

I wonder what Shane would have done.

Jesse James

For the future Tom, you really should make the mic be aimed at your mouth, the way it is it's hard to hear you. :| :)

Reaction Therapy

Never noticed that in the picture, and yes him considering is justified because she hasn’t been a part of the group…what a tough decision😩

Reaction Therapy

Nick told me it should be aimed sideways because they say it sounds better that way, so we moved it…if you know me…I have no clue, either I’m screaming into the mic and leaking the volume or it’s too quiet, we are working on it….thanks for letting me know👍

Reaction Therapy

I think Hershel did it because he really thought they’d be okay and there would be a cure and the governor knew after a while that there’s no hope and had some twisted behavior with his daughter, then on top of it the governor is a killer and more calculated…but Hershel was pretty crazy for that take👍

Kei

I think the reason that Rick saw through The Govenor is, being an ex-cop he probably dealt with many narcissistic criminals before and recognises the pattern of speech and behaviour

Jesse James

Ah okay, interesting. I don't know what Nick knows haha. I do know that depending on the type of mic it should be aimed at your mouth. I had a hard time hearing the 2 episodes today and to sort of illustrate my point, when you moved your head near the mic (intentionally or not) I could briefly hear you better. XD

Zak Lewis

the "other people" only get worse Tom. Sorry to say, though I'm sure you guessed it.

Brittany Lewandowski

See I dont think he knew there was no hope, he was still having Milton perform experiments to see if it was possible.

David Guerrero

Martinez is like their version of Daryl. When Rick attacked Woodbury Martinez rescued a little girl from being hit from the cross fire. If Martinez would have ended up with Rick’s group first they would have been unstoppable.

Harry

I wish Rick could shoot the Gov right there in the beginning but he prob would’ve died if he did

Harry

Tom dancing to walking dead is almost as good as the medication I take

Korivex

Yes, it is true... he even mentioned it to Andrea and Michonne that his wife passed away 18 months before it all started.

Lab

“I apologize for that” LOL! It’s okay Tom, Andrea brings out the worst of us 😂

Wolfy! Wolfi! Wolfé!

Hello I have a question? I have vip teir but a bunch of the earlier episodes is locked to preview while season 3 is full unedited episodes?

Luke Fitton

Dale didn’t mean to manipulate her. If she was going to stay, he was too. Why is Dale the bad guy for encouraging Andrea to carry on trying to live but Andrea is innocent for trying to make Dale (and everyone else) have to live without her? At the end of the day Dale didn’t force her to do anything, they could’ve just died together, but Andrea made the choice to leave with him and she blames him for that choice that SHE MADE and takes no responsibility for it and gives him hell for it. Dale was willing to die with her there, she could’ve just let that happen. “You don’t get to do that, come into someone’s life, make them care and then check out. So I’m staying, the matter is settled.” Andrea literally had no argument against this.

𝚃𝚛𝚞𝚎 𝙳𝚎𝚝𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚒𝚟𝚎 𝚂1 🙏

I feel like that wife story from the governor was real but was also Superficial Because He Wanted to trigger something in Rick from losing his wife which the governor probably knew from Andrea. Hence that side eye while he was taking a sip.

Knowing everything we know about what the Governor was capable of, Merle was 100% right. They should've struck first while they had the chance. On top of that, his motivation wasn't just revenge, he was trying to protect his brother. I can respect that. Honestly, I think Glenn was the one in the wrong for stopping him.

野兔 格温德琳

I don't think they would even be in this situation anyway, prisoners they found, gone instantly, so they wouldn't have lost Lori and Tdog to the sabotage. Probably would have gone searching the baby formula himself instead of chasing ghosts, so probably no glenn and maggie taken by Merle As for this "talk", if it still happened, he for sure would have killed the governor, perhaps invent a reason that he drew first and he had to, if needed. But he would never allow the governor to "decide" wether or not they can stay. Nor would he leave a threat in his backyard.

Dan __

This show shoulda ended after season 8 nothing but bs come out after

Dan __

This show like a good joke or good outfit that u drag for the next 16 years and shi gets goofy and annoying

Brittany Lewandowski

Thats literal coercion, though. I'd be afraid to be around you if you think what he did wasn't manipulation. You're a scary person. Because If Dale HADNT said that, she would have stayed. He 100% meant to manipulate her. Dale was smart, you think he didn't know what he was doing? At the end of the day Dale DID force her hand. Sorry but 'everyone else having to live without her' is such a dumb take. So it's fine for them to be selfish enough to want her to live in a terrible world but not for her wanting to leave it? You make me uncomfortable.

PJ Playhouse

so true, I think Shane was amazing and I miss him. great feedback :) ty

Frank(ie) D

Ah yes, formidable foe “Timothy”

Driver ED

Shane would have taken Carl, Lori and maybe Andrea and abandoned Herschel's family and Glen when the farm got overrun by walkers so they never would have gotten to the prison or found Michonne or the Governor.

Reaction Therapy

I disagree Dan and I haven’t even seen it…I believe that TWD never gets bad😎

Stash Barber

that's hilarious, i was gonna make a post referring to philip as timothy! the thing that cemented the hilariousness for me was his expression of disappointment in himself for making that mistake!

Gigi

Andrea was a civil rights attorney and Michonne,if I remember correctly was a district attorney , she is some type of attorney

Gigi

Merle was in the military.

Gracie's Revenge

That's your opinion Dan. To each their own. And if people watch all the way to season 8, at that point you need to just finish it and see the whole thing through. You can't please everyone and a lot of people like the last seasons. There's good and bad stuff throughout the whole show, and everyone has their own thoughts. What I like may not be what you like. If you don't like it, you have an amazingly easy fix: don't watch anymore of the reactions!

Gracie's Revenge

The annoying thing about Andrea is she wants to be all tough and big and bad and all 'modern woman', looking down on doing 'woman's work'. She thinks it's ok for the other women, but beneath her, to cook and clean etc because 'she can do what the boys do!'. She's very feminist, women's lib-ish. But you put some charming bad boy-type in front of her and she is swayed and swooned SO easily. So she really isn't as totally independent woman like she thinks. She wants to be on top, be a badass but at the same time she's kind of desperate to get attention from what she perceives as powerful men and they can manipulate the hell out of her, especially if they are giving her the D lolol...

courtney 🧚🏽‍♀️

🎯 bingo! trying so hard to be something she clearly isn’t lol she so tough like you said but easily manipulated like girl be fr

Nicholas Pagnant

When Tom covered his eye and said where here to move foward I spit my drink out yo🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

MamaBinTennessee

Just an fyi. I really like the song at the end of this episode, if you do as well... The name of the tracking is: "Warm Shadow" by "Fink"

Ana Saldana

frankly, i think lori would have died anyway giving birth. who knows how his nutty ah would’ve coped with that. he wouldn’t have tried to fight woodbury, i think he would’ve just left with carl and the baby (had the baby even survived, idk if he would’ve let anyone do a sacrifice c-section on lori). to hell with everyone else there, he would’ve left them to deal with woodbury. and that’s IF he even got to the prison, in all likelyhood he abandons everyone when the farm falls, just takes lori and carl and never finds it.
