tony didn’t have anything to do with her death. but the point of the scene was to show how self centered tony has become. hesh was a lifelong friend of tony and his father, and at his hesh’s weakest point, tony didn’t care. you can see by the facial expression as he walked out of his house. he just went on about his life. and him paying hesh off means he’ll never have to see him again. also it’s important to note that tony could’ve paid hesh his full amount anytime, he just chose not to.

I think the worst odds in the casinos are the slot machines

He didn’t have anything to do with her death, if you noticed she kept saying she was having bad migraines throughout the episode she probably a head issue like a tumor or aneurism

sk8star

the breakup with aj was kinda foreshadowed with her but aj was blinded by love

Next week is a rough one, I can’t wait. Two of the best episodes back to back.

Avery

It's boutta go off in these last 5 episodes...

"This episode is unique in that it almost throughout its entirety employs the shaky camera style, with the exception of Dr. Melfi's scenes and scenes in Tony's car. The style may represent the episode's theme of Tony's unstable lifestyle with his feverish gambling and losing spree." - IMDB

Benjamin Lincoln

at the end of the series id really appreciate a longer form take on melfis quality as a therapist and what you thought of their meetings as a whole. its been my highlight of watching these reactions and id love to hear your in-depth thoughts

I agree with some people where they say that Tony's gambling problem came out of left field and didn't seem to gel with the season.

Benjamin Lincoln

my jaw always drops when he talks about her house collapsing and being incompetent so viciously, what a scene

Gerald Nugent

He gambled the entire show, horse races, sports betting, poker games in the bing. It’s just so intense now because his new “everyday is a gift” outlook on life is BS. He hates everything about his life at this point and is chasing some sort of high.

Adrian

Well said it was more of a pride thing like I don't even need his money (when he clearly did to ask for it)

KC

I think Tony realized toward the end of the episode (talking about his gun shot survival, apologizing to Carmela, seeing a group of Jewish people that have been part of his community) that his true friendships (Hesh) and relationships (Carmela) are more important than money ... But reading other comments maybe I'm giving Tony too much credit.
