See, this is when I got really mad at the writers. Ketamine plus Miami Homicide leads to the Bay Harbor butcher? The Bay Harbor Butcher used M99, not Ketamine. Grrrr

Jesse James

As I understand it, M99 was not available this time so Ketamine is the substitute.

Patrick Bartsch

True, the sudden shift from M99 to ketamine in Dexter: New Blood was a sloppy use of cinematic license. But at the end of the day, that's just Hollywood. Seeing how Resurrection turned out now, I'm okay with it, but it is absolutely correct that they messed up there.

There’s almost nothing worse as a parent than when your teenager is angry with you and decides to prove a point by ignoring your texts and calls. To them, it might feel like they’re setting a boundary, taking space, or showing you how upset they are. But to a parent, that silence can be terrifying.

I mean of course Dexter was having trouble getting away from the guy chasing him. He got shot in the leg. Even if Dexter is normally pretty fast, it's kind of hard to run when you have a bullet in your leg. Also, it was easy for him to be tracked because the woods were full of snow and he was leaving a trail of footprints and blood.

The plothole is even more massive. They never even connected M99 to the Bay Harbor Butcher case. They found an injection mark and M99 in the system of the wife who was killing immigrants who couldn't pay back in Season One, but that was never connected to the Bay Harbor Butcher. Not only did Dexter not use ketamine in the original show, the police and FBI never knew the victims were injected to sedate them. At least it was never mentioned, and the physical bodies were sabotaged by Dexter fairly early on.

Janet

Yes, but a google search of Ketamine and Miami Homicide would not lead to the answer being the Bay Harbor Butcher. Its ridiculous

Janet

You are so right. They didn't even report the slice of the cheek, but especially didn't mention in weel marks!
