I've watched all three shows over the years and while Game of Thrones used to be a epic favorite of mine those last two seasons were so terrible in terms of pacing and jumping to completing character arches in a baffling manner that barley made any sense ( props to the writers for trying to make the story make sense once the source material ran out from George R R Martin) that It made me never want to rewatch the show again besides a handful of action scenes. Thankfully the prequel series have renewed my interest in the universe. As for Shameless, it was great! But from what I can recall the later episodes of the last couple of seasons as well felt like a hallow shell of what the show formally was (I'm talking about the US iteration and cast not the UK fyi) Rather than the great character development the show had in its first few strong seasons it morphed into what felt like a random Seinfeld episodes ( love that show, but shameless wasn't the right fit for that type of story telling) of tossing characters that had become beloved over their evolutions into random chaotic situations just for the sake of shooting an episode to the point where it felt like they were jumping the shark into more and more ridiculous territory. Eventually the show went back to its roots, or at least attempted to, and ended, it was unfortunately missing a very important character due to them not being able to make a return due to scheduling conflicts. And after the finale felt like the show should have ended earlier rather than continuing on into a dumbed down version of what it once was. Out of these three shows BoJack was the only one I was initially put off by due to the animation and it not exactly being my style but I came back to it years later, binge-watched season after season, and it became one of my all-time favorite shows, up there with Breaking Bad and The Sopranons in terms of profound character development and made me reflect on my own life's philosophy. Anyhoo, cheers everyone. Let's see what wins 😎

Honestly, we're at a point where these shows will keep doing well in polls, but only one will win. Why not just choose multiple from the remaining and check them off the list forever so other shows in the future get a chance?

Is this really the show for Tom or Reaction Therapy in general. Theres so many other shows that would be more fitting for him to react to. Netflixs Beef or Ozark or Six Feet Under would be perfect shows for this type of channel imo Ozark makes the most sense cause Sopranos just finished and its up there with shows like Breaking Bad and BCS

Nah he'll love GOT but there's not much a therapist can say for medieval knights. I feel like he's just gonna do "that look" and scream a lot in his reaction which are the boring parts of his reactions for me and I dunno how his therapy talks will work. lol no Game of Thrones is not that, it’s a fantasy drama set in medieval times where multiple nobles families are fighting to come into power. There are physical wars as well as political battles where loyalties shift, secret alliances form in order to try and take over Westeros and sit the Iron Throne. While everyone is focused on the Iron Throne, there is also a greater threat creeping in the shadows that could threaten all of humanity. There are also multiple story lines and character arcs that are amazing, the visuals are top notch, subverts your expectations in many ways, the writing (up to a certain point) and camera work are stunning. Game of Thrones is so much more than just sex and incest.

Game of Thrones and its ending are historically bad but not bc of any budget cuts. It’s actually said that HBO and George RR Martin wanted to continue on with the project. HBO ever offered the writers more money to create more seasons possibly 10-13. The writers dumb and dumber wanted to end GoT early to move on to a Star Wars movie that they were offered to film. They rushed the ending of GoT to go film the Star Wars movie, but it got canceled. (it’s what they get)

his therapy talks will go GREAT for analyzing literally ANY character and how they experience the medieval world they live in. Tyrion and his families treatment of him, his father and how he treats his children differently and why. Tom could even go ahead and compare that family and how the Starks interact with eachother and the familial differences. i could go on and on but that would spoil things, just take Sansa or Arya’s character arc for example Tom would have a field day watching that unfold, and his reactions? even better

If that's true, I think both directions producing more of the show and producing another Star Wars would have been a bad idea. As for the show, the longer a show goes for, it gets more difficult to keep it good, and as for Star Wars, the original films were great, everything after those has been very meh with the possible exception of The Force Awakens. Also, I'm pretty sure that House of the Dragon or whatever is a spin off of GOT, I never seen that either but I'm pointing it out to say that the network did technically keep making GOT lore. Just like TWD has spin offs.

Spin a wheel works for movies (several other reacters do it) but it's such a commitment for shows I'm not sure that's the best option unless it's only for one slot.

Game of Thrones would be good, but I think the way Bojack develops and goes into childhoods etc would be interesting to watch from a mental health professional (not that GoT wouldn't be)
