Great reaction Tom! I thought this track had massive ‘older tøp’ vibes when I first heard it! The beat reminded me of HeavyDirtySoul and the rap at the end reminded me of ‘Addict with a Pen’. There were various theories about this track and video when it first released, the strongest probably being that Josh’s isn’t actually ‘Josh’ here - and this was him ‘kidnapping’ Tyler to take him back to Dema. There are also a few parallels in the video between this track and Jumpsuit from Trench where the bishop drags Tyler back to Dema on his back. So many ‘Easter eggs’ to find in this video too - lots of Dema ‘Merch’ or ‘propaganda’! Notice what the book Josh is that Josh is reading! Loved this reaction and you got the ‘choker’ ref straight away! I think part of this track goes back to where Tyler was in his teenage and early twenties years. You probably know this already but Tyler was extremely good at basketball in high school and had a college offer to play, but he turned it down to concentrate on music. He talks about this in a short video that’s online, I think it’s called ‘shooting hopes with Tyler Joseph’ - but I might have that wrong lol!I think this is where his ability and love of ‘jumping’ comes from lol! It always amazes me how high he can jump when you see them live! I’d also heard that he applied to do music at college but didn’t get in as he couldn’t read sheet music. I will never be unimpressed by what Tyler and Josh are able to create!

LOL you sound like all of us wanting that bobble head. His shirt says "Tree huggers make better lovers". This song is one of my favorite on this album. I can relate to it soooo much.

Ahh yes, when I watched shooting hoops with twenty one pilots and Tyler says he wonders what he took that he uses now from all his time playing basketball my first thought was jumping lol
