Still super interested in this project, but it still freezes up and stops working consistently whenever a scene change occurs.

Thats odd. Got any error messages you can dm me or anything of the sort?

Unfortunately no, the game will simply attempt to load a new scene, will give the black transition screen, and then the application will give the "not responding" notice. Not a problem I have with any other Renpy games or similar Visual Novels that use different engines, so I'm really not sure what it could be.

well, when i finally figure out how to run them on itch online it should run well there.
