In the above photo, the Milky Way is arching over "The Watchman", a mountain just outside of the little town of Springdale, Utah. Springdale is located right next to the south entrance of Zion National Park.

In this photo (using a 15mm full-frame fisheye lens, f/2.8 • 30 seconds • ISO 6400), I'm standing in the town cemetery. A hill between me and the cemetery is blocking our view of the town's sodium-vapor street lamps which are illuminating the mountain behind the city. In the PDF, attached below, you are going to see another view, taken from up the canyon (to your left), inside the park. This is another update page to my new Version 2.0 eBook.

PDF: Be sure to download (below) and view my latest version 2.0 eBook update about utilizing light pollution to enhance your nightscapes.

NOTE: My patrons can expect to see many more posts over the next few months, as I continue to "serialize" updates to my original, version 1.1 "Milky Way NightScapes" eBook. These advance updates will become available exclusively to my patrons, page-by-page, until my new version 2.0 eBook is completed and published sometime in mid to late 2023.
