I was rewatching South Park and there was an episode called Mexican Joker… and the premise is that you could be in a flash back of the future Joker who probably wouldn’t forgive a society or environment as neglectful as America. I in all likelyhood would forgive such a child if they were to do things to hurt that order that perpetuates these behaviors. So there is actually a carmine in Gears 4. Lemme preface by saying, worst game I’ve played in a while. The carmine in 4 is shown in the second mission for half a frame, so fast I didn’t even really notice. Then within 5 minutes of me realizing it’s a carmine, they fucking kill him and make a brief hoopla about it. So it’s like they added the carmine death as an afterthought just to get it out of the way. Really bad game.
