Something you all need to know about Illinois and Indiana as I live 45 minutes from the border Chicago has some of the best pizza and food imaginable. Cajun, BBQ, pizza that's an absolute mindfuck, and Indiana and Illinois have an astounding amount of good places to drink. But living in Illinois is fucked and so is Indiana. Illinois you're taxed out the ass for anything, people are almost as rude as NY and will shoot you for looking at you the wrong way, Indiana isn't nearly as bad for taxes and everything is convenient to get to but holy fuck it's boring as fuck and I've contemplated my own mortality on several occasions out of boredom. But relatively speaking, its cheap to live here
