You have definitely convinced me that I haven't given Russell T Davies sufficient credit for his support of bisexuals/bisexuality. I've had mixed feelings about Captain Jack because of the otherworldly nature of his bisexuality (and the lack of the word), but when it comes down to it, it is quite a feat to make a slutty bisexual into a family-friendly character on a 7pm show. My sister's kids even named their cats Jack and Doc! Disney is not my friend, but RTD is <3 My husband was an extra in Queer as Folk, but very very sadly (for me) they did not use the footage of Stuart giving him a blowjob. :(

Oh my god, that's so cool, even if they didn't use the footage! :O I know what you mean about Jack. I think ultimately diversity in portrayals is what's most important, and I think at the end of the day its way too much weight on any single character to have to be representative of a whole minority of people. I went to see the new Bond film over the weekend after watching this video with my partner and there is another moment 'crumb' in it and my partner said ' Warner Bros is not your friend either'. <3
