Premiere today! This video is about Doctor Who, and unlike most of my videos about a random topic, I went into this one assuming any viewers would have watched at least a bit of the show. So be warned! Spoilers ahead!

I'll have to miss the premiere twice in a row unfortunately, but with the previous video getting me interested in RTD's work, I can't wait to catch up!

Watched this with a bit of a delay. But I agree on very much; Moffat made me actually fall out of love with the series, also the grossly miscast Smith, and unfortunately the 12th and 13th still suffered from sub-par writing. Although little old trans-femme enby me almost literally cried when they originally announced 13 would be a woman. Still, both Capaldi and Whittaker's runs were... forgettable. I very, very much hope for a black woman for 14. It is beyond time. And please, please better writing again. I know Davies can deliver on this, although Sherlock kinda shook my trust in his abilities. (Might have been Moffat's influence again though.)

Davies didn't work on Sherlock at all! It was Moffat and Gatiss! If you check out Davies' other recent work, I think you can restore your faith! It's Moffat who has gone on to dissapoint us all!

OMG I mixed up Gatiss and Davies in my mind. That's... embarrassing. But also reassuring in this case with regards to the next Doctor season. 💜

Yeah I hope Gatiss doesn't come back, I'm sick of his work, and I feel like there's a streak of conservativism to his stuff. His first DW was about basically how immigrants come and then turn out to be evil lmao! Done with that guy.
