Premiere later today! This video is a review of Netflix's new lesbian vampire romance First Kill. It's about 40 minutes, but there still so much Ada and I left out of this video, so I was thinking, hows about a patreon livestream Monday around 7 or 8 central european summer time? I'll stream clips from the show and we can chat about what makes this show so....like that!

"First Kill" & the Lesbian Vampire

Netflix's new lesbian vampire romance "First Kill" exists and it exists hard. They promise a goodness more good than Twilight, more modern than Buffy. But is it actually any good? No, actually. Youhou, I can finally make it back to a premiere 🎉 And since it's Pride weekend here, this looks like a perfect way to start it!

Vince Whitacre

What time's the premiere? YT isn't loading at work...

Live stream and chat sounds cool, but with my 4yo, I can only watch things in 15 minute chunks. Could it be recorded and shared on patreon afterward?

Verity Ritchie

Yes, the livestream will be available to watch immediately! It'll be a youtube livestream, so even its still going and you come late, there's the option to go back and watch at the beginning, or just join in live!

Home sick so i just started watching First Kill. I'll at least be done in time for the live stream 🕺😍

Ghosts And You Might Die

Another really fantastic video!! I am so very pleased that I can appreciate the terribleness of this show through your fun, well-written, wonderfully-presented video essay, and not have to actually watch it myself. Thank you Ada & Verity, and give us a heads-up when your kickstarter for The-Birdcage-with-lesbians-and-vampires goes live because I will absolutely give you money for that 🤑

Verity Ritchie

Haha, thank you Ghosts! We have had so many chats since we started working on this of how we would do this if we had our own show, its the dreeeeaaam!
