Conditional jump instructions

Thanks for a great video! I had a bit of fun and implemented an 8 bit square root finder. I had a bit of a challenge fitting it into 16 bytes, so it requires a reset between runs, since I had to store the result by modifying an LDI instruction. The code is here: <a href="https://gist.github.com/klauspost/bdf58d25565d3f6d5d13019e16529a6b" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://gist.github.com/klauspost/bdf58d25565d3f6d5d13019e16529a6b</a> I tested it using Luis Michaelis' emulator and it should work for all 8 bit inputs. It works by counting the number of times you can subtract the next odd number from your input.

How would floating point math be implemented on this machine?

Thank you Ben I have uploaded a YouTube video of my version of your design here - <a href="https://youtu.be/3EdC4eJjpLU" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://youtu.be/3EdC4eJjpLU</a> Now I have just got to incorporate your latest additions. I love your work and it has inspired me at the age of 60.

Hey guys, new here but I personally loved this project and I actually made an Assembly compiler for this in python. I put it on GitHub if anyone wants to look at it. https://github.com/tayler6000/BenEater8BitAssembler Obviously, as this computer doesn't use EEPROM, you'd have to program an Arduino or a Pi to program the RAM on startup but it was still fun to make
