Different perspectives and views on the same time period have always fascinated me.  We've found that so many details and memories of life are filled in as we edit through our footage, which is another fascinating part of being fortunate enough to make these videos.  You don't remember every interaction or conversation, but having a photograph or video can help fill in the rich details of the past.

As we've sailed from the lessor populated areas into the Caribbean this brings up another point.  There are a few other Sailing YouTube channels out there, which then gives you another twist.  A completely different side of the same story.

We met the crew of Poly in St. Lucia.  They are a Polish family with two kids sailing aboard their Neel Trimaran. This video was filmed at the same time as the episode we just published last Friday in St. Lucia, and is a great complement to our video so I wanted to share it all with you.  If you find their story interesting you can learn more about the crew of Poly at sailoceans.com.

Fair winds, and I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  Capt. Brian

PS- This is just a little something I wanted to share with you all, and doesn't apply towards your contributions to our project like a normal series video!

Crazy Polish Family and DELOS Crew Means TROUBLE!

One of the times we anchored in Saint Lucia we ended up as neighbors with SV Delos 😊💪 Of course we couldn't resist to meet them and it turned out it wasn't just an introduction....See what does a mix of crazy Polish family and the Delos crew mean 🤣😈 For those of you who are fans of sailing channels probably no further introduction is needed. For the rest: 11 years ago Brian bought a sailboat he named Delos and then his brother Brady joined him. Since then they have been living aboard and sailing the world with their loved ones as we do! Their blog became one of the most popular on youtube 🌎 Please remember to click ➡️subscribe button and turn on the notification bell🔔 to be notified about new episodes 👍🙏 And if you want to find out what happened later in the evening please see the next episode at: https://www.patreon.com/posts/night-swimming-27176421 BTW. Because of YouTube policy the comments below the videos are disabled 😞 many channels with kids in the videos got the same issue... We are doing our best but for now on it seems to be a mission impossible... 😞 Please enjoy a new video and lots of sun for today 💛 Ania and Bartek SailOceans Cheers, Ania and Bartek We are a Polish family (Ania, Bartek, Kuba and Julian) traveling the world and sailing across oceans on our floating home, a 15 meter trimaran, as a way of promoting alternative way of life off the grid. In 2014 we managed to materialize our dreams and traded a land based home in Poland for a permanent life on the ocean aboard our dearest new home - sailboat "Poly". For us sailing is a way of free life in sync and harmony with nature and each other. It's a way of experiencing life, people, and places, entirely on our own terms. For many years it was just a dream, but we followed it and it came true. We are here and now, no longer chasing the dream. Follow us to see all the amazing, interesting, crazy, scary, and funny people, places and situations that we experience and learn from. Welcome to our family life unplugged. Ania, Bartek, Kuba and Julian SailOceans If you enjoy our videos and think it's a good idea that we share our family life off the grid then please be so kind and support our effort.
