Will This JUNGLE SHIP Disrupt a BILLION DOLLAR Industry? Sailing Vessel Delos Ep. 379 (Patreon)

We are BEYOND stoked to be writing you today from the Sea of Cortez! We maaaaaade it and it feels amazing! In the few short days that we've been here, it's already living up to all the hype. We even busted out the scuba gear for the first time since Panama and dove on a shipwreck where we met one of the friendliest (dare I even say TOO friendly 😳) turtles we've ever seen. The one downside however, and though it is no surprise at all and we've been building ourselves up for this....but it is HOT! We've sweat more in the past 3 days than we did the last month and half in Puerto Vallarta combined 😂
Anywho, grab yourself a frosty beverage of your choice and kick back & enjoy this weeks fresh episode. It's a goodie, and I promise that you've never seen anything like this before (well unless you already know about this particular boat 😂). After sailing deep into the Bay of Nicoya in Costa Rica, we anchored right next to a rivermouth where we could take Maggie back into the mangroves. And amongst the wild jungle that surrounded us in every direction was a very special shipyard. Sail Cargo Inc. is a team of half Costa Rican and half international workers and dreamers who are living together in a community and building the first of what will become a fleet of wooden ships that will sail cargo on various routes around the world. We are lucky enough to go on a little tour around the place and learn more about this incredibly and totally mind blowing project.
