Hola Hola friends!

It wouldn't be Friday without another crisis on board to share with you 😂 After Kazza made a full recovery from her scary run in with Salmonella poisoning, it finally felt like everything was right again in our floating world.  So we let our hair down, whipped up some margaritas, and threw a raft up party to celebrate my amazing Swedish Princess' birthday.  But the next day, mother nature had a different present for us in mind, and things went sideways REAL fast.

This episode pretty much sums up cruising life: A constant dance alternating between the highest highs and the lowest lows.  But we wouldn't have it any other way!  Living life constantly on our toes is challenging for sure, especially with a toddler in the mix, but it's also incredibly rewarding.  When we look back on all our incredible memories of this voyage around the world, it wouldn't be the same if it had been easy.  So we try and remind ourselves of this when the going gets tough (and guess what, it only gets tougher in the next two episodes).

Anyway, we hope you enjoy this one and get in a few giggles too :)

NOT another disaster! Oh boy. Time to watch. : - ) As to favorite episodes, I like the one where everybody goes up on that big dune in SW Africa, al natural. The episodes where you cross the Equator are fun too. Then, of course, there's your wedding! : - )

CATHERINE HACKETT

Thank heavens for spares! That morning after storm was probably even worse with a hangover. Always the way, huh?❤️⛵️

Klas Andersson

Great episode, not too much pain and missery! 😉 And as for my favorite episode, it got to be the one I saw first with you guys, Ep. 107 Sailing the roaring 40´s in 30 foot waves! I was searching for some good sailing videos on hard weather sailing, and that one popped, freshly released too! Watched you for a year or so dilligent ever after (And every one you had released before it to) before becoming a patreon. Love your content, love the vibe!!! 🥰😎

It just feels like the high point of the week is new Delos video. Like on the previous video with Kazza being sick, the way the world makes connections everywhere to bring to you whatever aid you need. It's just a testament to how important you (plural) are to us all. My favorite series is the Girl Crew. It was just extra heart warming to see how closely that crew bonded. Me, I'm still working on getting the crud n stuff off my sailboat so I can get it out and sail again. 27 ft is pretty cozy even for one person if still doing tweaking on wiring and woodwork here and there. Have you ever run into a video "Race to Alaska"? It's about a race from Port Townsend to Ketchikan in/on anything that will float. It's pretty amazing. Peace and joy be with you all. Thanks for sharing your lives.

#SparesRule! Oh man, that was one of my worst hangover scenarios of all time 😂 I'd like to say lesson learned, but lets be honest....

Sailing SV Delos

Oh yeah that's a great episode, love that one! Definitely some of the craziest footage ever filmed on Delos. Glad you've been loving the videos and thanks for coming along for the ride with us!

Sailing SV Delos

Agree completely Spencer, girl crew season was so freaking epic! That was def some of our favorite times on board. Haven't seen the Race to Alaska video but it sounds cool will check out!

Been there messing with the wheel when the autopilot is on! DOH! Was on a Cat in the BVIs and I ended up snapping the chain. Had to steer back to port with the engines (yay for catamarans, they can drive like a tank, bless two engines with 2 props.) It was a real scary moment when the wheel spun and the boat didn't while a cruise ship was leaving the bay and guess where we were headed!!! The bright side is ... wasn't my boat (is that insensitive?) And no, did not hit the cruiseship. (phew)

Despite all your challenges, I was so happy for Kazza that her birthday celebrations looked perfect! Her loved ones close, a gorgeous anchorage, delicious food and drinks and so much fun! Im sure you all made memories you will always cherish that day. ❤️😊

The Quizzle

raja ampad is my favourite

Daniel James

Favorite episodes! I certainly have my top ten :) Loved it when you two were alone in El Nido - such a beautiful place! And certainly, another one of Kazza's birthday vids, episode 176 - when she had to follow the clues to find her tasty "treasure" - Love you guys, Happy 2023!

Capt. Dustin LaBorde

Happy birthday Kazza …. Looks like you had a difficult time getting all of that meat in your mouth!! 😂😂🤣

Bill Dapp

I can't believe that neither one of you said that your favorite episode was your wedding! :-)

Andrew Lee... lost, at sea!

Disclaimer: No sailor or ship was harmed in the filming of this episode. How do you choose a favorite. I binge watched from the beginning till episode 280 or something. The ones that made my eyes go all leaky, of which there are more than a few are my favorites. Sierras arrival ranks at the top.

Scurvy Dan

Great episode. I'm not to sure what my favorite episode is. but i have to say i do love the Philippines episodes a lot. actually just watched Brian's number one pick last night. just before watching this one this morning. what a coincidence.

Myra Slepoy

Interesting you ask us about our favorite episodes. I think what I recall as being the most intense were the two or three on the Indian Ocean (78,79). To watch you get through such difficult conditions was amazing. I also loved your earlier videos exploring all those remote areas in and around the Pacific with your motley crew LOL. You’ve just had such an evolution as sailors and videographers. Plus we watched yo u “grow up” and yet still find the adventure and excitement while being responsible parents. Kudos to the entire Delos tribe!!!

The Crew

Great Party and swimming Delos Happy birthday to Karin stay young forever. Cannot wait for you to get to 36 so make this year the best at 35 build some great memories. Boat searching for me is still going till the water starta to warm up scuba diving is also on hold here in the carolina's.

Burke Eschler

I love all of them especially the ones in the south Pacific but my favorite is the James Bond episode.

Steve Harvey

Happy birthday, Kaza! That looked like an OG Delos bender there! Woot! Yes, Chagos, my favorite episode of all time!

Sailing SV Delos

It was such a fun party, so nice to have close friends to celebrate with! Even though the next day was so SO rough it was definitely worth it!

Sailing SV Delos

Yeah those Indian Ocean episodes are SO wild! Such an intense but rewarding adventure through that part of the world. And yes you're right, seasons and change and there have been so many different chapters of the voyage, all different but special in their own way :)

Sailing SV Delos

Ooooo winter diving in Carolina's sounds intense 🥶 Good luck with the search, hope your dream boat comes your way soon!

Andrew Berry

For me… your Chagos episode is number 1 and then your episode diving in the middle of the Madagascar channel number 2
