Muffet was an extremely ambitious project from the very beginning. When I saw her gaining votes in the polls, I knew I had to start working immediately, or I wouldn't even have time to finish her headmod!

Everything is made from scratch, and most of my time went into recreating her personality and expressions!

Making five eyes work together was difficult! I wanted all of them to move, look around, and work naturally with her expressions. Had her fangs stick out and integrate to animations. It all required a LOT of fine-tuning!

Naturally, creating four fully functional arms before Halloween was simply out of the question. I genuinely want to make those extra arms work, and I have a few ideas in mind. But the day that'll happen won't be tomorrow. You'll have Muffet for Halloween but might have to wait a little longer for her arms.

For now, the previews use a custom scene, which I'll include in the release! It works, but posing the extra arms requires considerable manual work.

I have two ideas for a future update:

Accessory Arms: Fully poseable, including fingers, but they wouldn't follow animations automatically. No clothing support, and adjusting them would be rather complicated.

Arm Body Mod: An experimental floating-arm mod that could potentially work with animations and other characters. Much more promising, but also MUCH harder, with no guarantee it'll work!

Which solution would you prefer? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

For now, I'm focusing on finishing her headmod, textures, and simple outfit for tomorrow's Halloween release! I still have another Halloween release and Mary to finish, so I can't spend several more weeks experimenting with arms right now.

But don't worry, I'm not giving up on her! I plan to revisit Muffet in November. Halloween may be over, but spiders, pumpkins, and cozy autumn vibes certainly aren't!
