The enchanters outside shut down spells within the building. Lucky for Kai, a friendly ogre is itching for a fight.

Well that wasn’t exactly what I expected to happen, but it makes sense seeing how this used to be a prison with magical beings inside it

But I have to ask just because they shut down Kai’s spell work do they really think they’ve shut down Abigail as well? This isn’t like when they ambushed her; this has to be a rush job after all

It's their procedure to stall for more powerful wizards/enchanters to show up. And their ambush technically worked, as in, they captured her (everyone turning into a bikini models is the side effect).

I meant that unlike the ambush which they clearly had planned for even if only a few hours in advance this action is clearly being done somewhat ad hoc; as in they’re making it up as they go seeing how if they were planning it out properly they would never let Scarlet in the building

Quick question. Was that ogre a woman the whole time, or was she a man that became a woman with the rest of the prison?

The ogre was a man before (prisoner). Then transformed into a woman. She remembers being human, but not a man.

I figured she remembered being human, based on what she said, just wasn’t 100% sure about whether or not she was originally a man and just didn’t remember. Thanks for answering. Can’t wait to see how Scarlet deals with an ogress thinking “he’s” trying to kidnap a “girl” like Kai.
