I really liked how Abigail helped Brandon escape despite being Scarlett's son. Really hope she rewards him by removing the viral spell on him. Also, is Kai still a dude? Can someone answer that for me?

I typically don't answer spoiler questions, because: 1) Because some don't want to be spoiled. 2) I don't want to lock myself into a set storyline if I decide to change it later. But to vaguely answer your question, for the main characters, I like to transform them when it makes sense.

I’d rather it be impossible to remove the viral spell on him without undoing the entire spell. I think Brandon is better off this way. He looks great, and has a future in bikini modeling. Plus, we learned early on that when he and Kai are opposite genders(which they currently are, despite Kai’s appearance) reality likes to turn them into a couple. So why not keep him that way? Even if he doesn’t think of Kai in that way thanks to the memory tether, the rest of reality would still consider them a couple. Imagine the story potential for that.
