The Importance of Safe Driving (Patreon)

David stared down at his phone, his eyes blinded by the bright screen amidst the dark surroundings. The fennec was the last to leave the house party, and had to stumble (only semi-drunkenly) his way through the unlit secluded drive. The app said the driver should be here any second! Where were they?
Just as he thought that, a light from beyond his phone alerted him. He looked up to see his ride coming up the poorly maintained gravel path. After a second, his eyes adjusted to the dark enough where he could see the driver, who had pulled the window down.
"Are you David?" The blue ferret asked, looking down at her phone.
"Yeah." He replied. David didn't really feel like chatting with his driver; previous experience with weirdos had shied him away from that.
"Good. Get in." The ferret replied, equally matter of factly.
The fox went to open the back-left door, but he was interrupted before he could. "Hey, uh, you're gonna have to get in the front. Back's full. Sorry about that." the ferret gave an awkward smile, and David had no problem indulging her. But still, that was odd. Did she have other passengers?
He climbed into the passenger seat, and watched as the ferret checked her own phone for his destination, back at his apartment. "This where you're going?" she asked, tilting the screen towards him.
"Yeah" he answered.
"We'll see" the ferret murmured under her breath with a smirk.
David heard her, but figured nothing of it. He saw from the app that her name was Emmy, but he didn't really have a conversation plan that would require using it. So he sat in quiet as the ferret reversed the car and started driving through the suburban roads.
It was boring, and awkward, as being in a car with a stranger often is. The fennec tried to occupy himself by looking around. The front of the car was totally normal, except perhaps a little dirty. But the back, she really wasn't kidding! There was piles of clothes, accessories, a skateboard.. cell phones.... wallets.....
The fennec couldn't quite understand what was going on, but something in the pit of his stomach told him this was wrong. It wasn't normal to have that many things, and what she had said earlier... It just rubbed him the wrong way. He figured he would keep silent, but stealthily pulled up the emergency call on his phone, just in case. There was no way he'd be giving Emmy a good review.
After a few minutes of paranoid silence, Emmy said "Alright, we're at your destination."
David looked out the window. They were in the middle of nowhere, somewhere between a retention pond and uncleared woods. "Uh, I don't think this is my place." he replied warily.
"No, silly. Not out there!" the blue ferret smiled, "You're going right here~" she said and smacked her ass.
Before David could respond, Emmy grabbed his shoulders and began to force the struggling fox into her mouth. An experienced predator, she had no problem forcing her prey down. And gulp after gulp dragged him deeper into her system. He dropped his phone in panic the second he was grabbed. A shame, who could save him now? Well, it's not like an ambulance could do much for ferret-fat anyway, so even if he had called, it wouldn't've done much good.
Finally, after almost two minutes of swallowing, the ferret forced the rest of her prey down into her gut and gasped for air. She was well in practice, but holding one's breath for that long is tough no matter what. The fox whined, cried, and struggled within her gut, but to no avail. Emmy was going for a nice evening drive, enjoying her delivery. Oh! Maybe she could get into that business next. Come to customer's houses only to make them quite aware how their would-be meal would have felt.
She drove the backroads to her own home. It wasn't wise to hunt near your own residence, drew too many questions. And besides, it's always fun to get out and see the world. Try the local cuisine, as it were.
Emmy's gut contents changed from a struggling fox, to an unmoving fox, to a smooth mound of slush in under an hour. David digested as easily as he was gulped, and he didn't even give the ferret a touch of indigestion. But, he did seem to be having some revenge, as he was about to finish his journey, with no rest stop in sight for Emmy.
Anxiously looking around, the ferret drove on, trying to block out the rapidly increasing urge to use the bathroom. Finally, when she thought she couldn't make it anymore, the navy-blue predator saw a gas station. She drove a little faster than was legal to get in, and practically ran out of her car, into the cool night air, and then into the fluorescent glow of the station.
"Where's the bathroom?" she asked the gazelle at the counter.
He didn't even answer, just pointed and continued chewing his gum. Emmy nodded a silent thanks and ran off.
As minutes passed, the gazelle was getting concerned about the ferret. One flush sounded out, then another, and then another. She was spending an awful long time in there, and it didn't sound like she was doing so great... But, it was none of his business. And it would be quite rude (not to mention illegal) to barge in and check on her.
One final flush and the running of a sink later, the ferret left the bathroom with a noticeably smaller belly; the gazelle didn't notice, or care, that Emmy had lost a fox's worth of weight. Before she left, Emmy decided to buy a candy bar for the road. After all, she was feeling a little hungry...
When she got back into the car, Emmy tossed her former prey's possessions into the pile, not giving them a second glance. At some point she would have to clean the backseat up, but why do today what can be put off until later.
Emmy turned the car on and drove home; when she got there she would sleep, and then maybe eat someone else for breakfast. David floated and festered in the sewers; he couldn't really do anything else. Dumped out in a gas station bathroom and forgotten immediately, the fox wasn't even worthy of Emmy's home toilet. Or at least, that's how much she valued him.
