Heya folks! So after reaching my first milestone, I'm now going to try something for the first time. I want to create a song, which is shaped ENTIRELY by you guys, then share it.

So what I need is a bunch of the following:

Instruments - What instruments do you like and would like featured? Remember there's different varieties... Think Percussion as well as melodic!

Style - Something hard, heavy or something soft and sensual?

Genre - Orchestral and soundtrack? Something a bit more funky, or jazz or even something in the EDM regions.

Anything else you can think of.. Throw it out there (well.. On here.) I will try and make the song up to a minimum of 3 minutes in length.

So don't be shy... Put in your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.. And lets just see what happens. I've never done this before, so it'll be fun as well as experimental :D

Congratulations on the mile stone Fox! I would love to hear a faster paced piece from you. I find when you deviate from your typical orchestrations fascinating. (Not that I don't LOVE your usual orchestrated work! It's just fun to mix it up!) I would love to hear something in the vein of Fire Killer, Doctor Anon, or even Happy Song! I love percussion pieces that are made with a bunch of misc. objects. There is a group called STOMP who specialize in percussion based performances with things from trash can lids to basket ball bouncing. I would love to see what kind of creative beat and rhythm you could make in that direction. It really intrigues me! I'm looking forward to whatever you produce, and I hope you hit your next mile stone ASAP!

I'd like to see more dabbling in EDM from you... Maybe not dubstep, perhaps something more laid back. I love your synth-heavy pieces such as The Cosmic Express, something where I can really feel the music rumble and take shape. So yes, not too upbeat, not too downbeat either. ...i hope that made sense.

Odin

Always a sucker for violin.

TheLupineOne

Heck, I'd even be up for a more hardcore EDM song. Go out of your comfort zone!... Just no dubstep wubwubs.

gummibjorn

how about this? take the piano with your left hand run a boogie woogie rythm, and then with the right fill in pieces of your music as they can fit??

Christopher Leavy (Cosmik)

Okay, just for fun... Instruments: vibraphone, pedal steel guitar, theramin, glass organ, kalimba Styles/Genres: Merengue, Dixieland, Ska, Folk, Barrelhouse

Haikei

Conrats on the milestone bud! I personally am a sucker for violin and piano (just like odin firnen)

Orbay Creations

Xylophone and an Ocarina would be totally awesome!

Farros

How about something that progresses, starting off with piano, then violin joins, gradually gaining more orchestral instruments, and possibly some vocals, from Ashley or Lillypad, their voices always just give me the shivers when mixed in with your tracks. as it goes along it just turns into a more and more dramatic crescendo, having it suddenly then die down, and end with the piano section played at the beginning~ ^.^

Aaah thanks everyone! This has already given me some ideas. Lets see what I can come up with :)

Nero

Hmmm im a sucker for old time stuff...so in my head id say something like a sea shanty. or something using a item you never rely see any more a Hurdy Gurdy. At least find some tunes of it on youtube to hear it lol its wild

I am kind of late, But I would love to see something with some vocal, some choir-like style, or just any vocal. Other than that I love orchestral style, but with fast dynamic pace, lots of strings and some piano with it. Maybe with adding instruments and changing dynamics with it. I am listener, I don't really know how music is made.

Congo

Well I'm kinda late, but I will say I love something Dramatic. Something you would hear in a battle scene maybe. Something with a pipe organ would also be cool! Im a sucker for pipe organs.

How about something with a sassy groove that you might hear on a belly dance mix, with a fujara or similar overtone flute in it somewhere? :D

Rattie

I would suggest a happy ragtime riffs on a trompet, accompanied by a distorted electric guitar. Then throw in some strings and an accordion ;)
