Happy April, April Fools Day, Easter, spring season, etc! Hope everyone is having a good year so far, crazy that it’s already 1/4 done (that’s good math right? did I do good?)

Speaking of April Fools, I have decided to declare this month Patreon minicomic month! I have a few ideas piled up in my To Draw tab of jokey little one page comics and since they’re slightly faster to do than more elaborate artwork/shading/backgrounds it gives me more time to knock out Patchwork comic pages I’ve been neglecting cuz work seemed to pile up last month out of nowhere. I was hoping now having a remote job would mean I’d get to work on comics all day without a manager looking over my shoulder but I forgot sometimes you actually have to work while you’re at work 😭

That’s about it! And now, a patented Red Recommendation Rant of my latest hyper-fixation:

I just need to talk about the movie Sinners for a hot second y’all. I’m well aware I’m a year late to the party but in my defense hearing it was only like, half a ‘horror’ movie and not even that scary put it low on my radar.. but then it started getting nominated for music left and right this award season?? Fact: a good soundtrack is the easiest way to convince me to watch something and y’all no one told me that movie was all ABOUT music. Southern gothic/blues/folk/Irish/rock/overall RDR2 vibes like HELLO?? Just inject it. Inject it into my veins.

Long story short: came for the music, stayed for the story (and music), and I highly recommend it. I could write an essay on the twins and a whole damn novel on why Remmick is one of the best villains in cinema but instead I will continue to sit here doodling Remmick/Sammie AU, god bless.
