Hello book-reading creatures, I am Ian B. Urns of Of Rantings And Ramblings and it has come to my attention that none of you know who I am, who my cowriter is, or anything about what we're planning for the future. From here on out we're going to start actually using Patreon to update anyone who's interested in the goings-on of our writing duo and what to expect from it in the future.

I shall proceed by answering some questions. None of these questions have actually been asked to us, mind, we'd need to have spoken with you all for that to happen, which we haven't really done. They're just questions that I have imagined some of you would probably want to know the answers to, maybe.

Enjoy.

Q: Who are you, and what are you doing with that pigeon?

An excellent question! I am, as established, Ian B. Urns. My cowriter is A.C Erinle. Both of us are friends and both of us are equal parts of the partnership that is Of Rantings And Ramblings.

As a general rule, if you're reading something written by one of us it'll be edited by the other. I wrote Author's Nightmare, The New Dark Lord (storyboarded by Erinle) and our upcoming release "Solipsism". Erinle is currently writing another upcoming release titled God of Hell. More on those later.

For my part I mostly hide in my writing bunker and hiss at outsiders like some sort of literary gremlin, which means most of the interaction you'll all see from ORAR off Patreon is done by Erinle. He communicates with publishers, other writers and posts on RoyalRoad.

Q: What are we planning next?

We have THREE books scheduled to release in 2025 already, and have plans to hopefully increase that to five. For the time being, all of you can enjoy steady releases of Author's Nightmare which we have a very large backlog of. In the next few months we'll be releasing new stories on RoyalRoad named already, and because we're both just giant bundles of love with cerebrums attached we're even going to preview some early chapters and give a few tidbits about them both so you can all make an informed decision ahead of things just how violently you should be shaking with excitement over them. Aren't we nice?

The samples of both books will be released TOMORROW, but for now you can all make do with the synopses...

"Nero died and awoke in hell. A grinning face, a gun to his head. That was the last thing Nero saw in life. A fitting end. He'd made his fortune by helping the rich and powerful exploit others and get away with it. Unfortunately, death is fairer than life. In hell, Nero is thrust into the middle of an oppressive regime with humanity at the bottom and Demonkind at the top. Worse, a mysterious imp insists he has some pivotal role in overturning it. True or not, he'll need to master his newfound powers just to survive this hostile world. And maybe, just maybe become the God of Hell somewhere along the way."Scheduled to drop on Royal Road on March 3rd.Tags: Progression Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Tower Climber, Portal Fantasy.

"It was society's fault Gordon was a loser, not his own. That doesn't help him much now though. After being tragically struck by a truck while attempting to shove a woman out of his way, Gordon finds himself transported to another world with mysterious and incredible powers. Yeah, he can read the writing on the wall. He’s lying delirious in a puddle with his head smashed in, hallucinating while his brain dies. Well that’s fine by him- if the world is nothing but his fantasy then he’ll enjoy it for as long as his consciousness lasts. After all, he has always loved a good progression fantasy."Scheduled to drop on Royal Road on May 3rd.Tags: Progression Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, LitRPG, Portal Fantasy.

God of Hell is the former, Solipsism the latter. We look forwards to sharing more of both.

Q: Why do all of your stories include bomb-making instructions?

It's a secret tool that will help us later.
