So it's been a few books since I've done one of these things. I wrote the rough drafts for books 5, 6, and 7 all at once so most of the stuff for this arc has been locked in by the time you guys see it.

We're not particularly far into book 7, but my plans for book 8 and 9 are solidifying. They're most likely going to be titled "Web of the Fateweavers and Tyrant of the Devilbeast Wilds," to give you some rough idea as to content without spoiling anything.

I'm going to start drafting book 8, but before then I wanted to give you guys the chance to make your voices heard. What do you want to see in book 8?

Respond in the comments below. I make no promises about anything, but I am interested to read what people are thinking about.

More cowbell? Seriously though, I’ll think about it and let you know. So far behind on my reading, it’s tough to think of ideas.

A magic, long-distance conversation with Sam and/or Dean. Maybe with Dean actively being in the middle of a cosmic battle. Maybe more worlds? It's called 'The Ten Thousand Worlds' and we've only seen fractions of two, with mentions of like three more.

I agree on the more worlds thing although I'm guessing Theo would have to finish dealing with his current crises until he starts going elsewhere. But once things calms down, he could probably start putting down enough teleport points to turn Hearthwood into a interplanetary hub. Also, it would be nice to get some consolidation of his abilities/buildings. He now has so many different abilities and buildings that when he gets a new one, it's more of an: oh, it's just one more out of dozens that he already has. Since he now has Immortal's Sight, is he able to combine abilities together like his Corrosive Touch/Return to Dust combo (which he always uses together anyways) or other similar spells? If, instead of acquiring a new spell, he can break down the good parts and add it to his existing abilities to rank them up, he wouldn't have to go through the cycle of rank up, get spell, abandon previous spells, repeat. Speaking of which, with the Sight and earth knowledge, I wonder if he can create his own custom spells.

I would love to see Theo try to pick up the beast folk cultivation and actually fail. Or just try some other cultivation, have it fail, but help him expand or gain a greater understanding of his own cultivation. More gold mongering would be cool too, I found those powers really intriguing. Also, more father-daughter time! Absolutely adore how he tries to be a good parent even with lots of children.

Most of what springs to mind is what you're heading towards anyway. Theo's cultivation increasing, the Wanderer's capabilities increasing, increasing his presence in space with ships and teleport relays so he can travel between planets freely, finding out what actually happened to Sam and Dean and making contact with them. Finally putting an end to that damned cult and putting Deania and the surrounding lands under his influence so that he can safely focus on other worlds. The orcs were entertaining, but I'd really love to see catgirl world (or whatever it was called). Our dear Korra may have finally fallen to him but we haven't had much hot catgirl sex yet. Or other types of animal-girls. I'm not a furry, but cat-ears and the like are irresisible. Dog/wolf girl? Fox girl? Bunny girl? All three? Please? Girls with horns are good too, demon and dragon girls are sexy. Vampire girls? We've had elves, elves, elves for seven books, save for Yorik and Korra. We need some variety. As much as I like elves, knowing all those fantasy races are out there yet having so few kinds in his harem is killing me. I would suggest dwarf girls, but they'd probably be lolis and that would lead this series into uncomfortable territory for many people and probably isn't worth the hate. But yeah, if he can turn the pocket dimension into a travel hub linking his holdings in the heartwood and blackgorge, the increase the level to get more connections and build similar holdings on other worlds he goes too, he could create his own little interplanetary empire. That would be pretty awesome. Otherwise, yeah keep going where you're going. Finding out more about the creators like the space wizard and the elf world's status as a protected world and what that means, all which you'd reveal sooner or later even if I didn't say. And like I said, having a small army of hot elves eager to satisfy his needs is great, but more variety and a few new wives would be wonderful too. Otherwise, keep up the good work!

I did have plans for a kitsune girl, but they got cut. Not sure if she'll show up at this point. That being said, I do have a rough outline for another cultivation series like the Spellheart series (except shorter) that's basically all kitsunes. Massive kitsune harem with big fluffy tails. Not sure if I'll work that content into the Spellheart series or leave it as an independent series to be done after the paladin story and Amazon Apocalypse.

Hm, this may be more difficult because of plot reasons but from what I've read, for series with multiple races, the harem is usually split up between each race so that each member has an additional distinguishing feature. There's also the benefit of being able to appeal to more preference as well as slowly adding more harem members instead of dumping a huge batch of women at one time (which I felt was one weakness of initial Spellheart books; way too many harem members got introduced in the beginning and they didn't really get fleshed out for multiple books).

2nd the vampire angle definitely would like Theo to put some stuck up vampires in there place. Seems like something Theo would do considering that what little we know so far they keep elves as blood pets

Loukemia

I'd like to see some humans not allied with the Unblinking Eye. Perhaps outside help from some of the other worlds. Some friendly characters who aren't Dean or Sam. It could be a good way to introduce the cultivation from other worlds. Also have we ever found out how human women are treated versus the Chaka experience? If not I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Alex Wierzbicki

Dragons maybe a bit about the other species cultivation styles. More stuff form the last golden age, more upgrades to the Wanderer.

Mitchell Hall

If not in the 7th book, both Segoless awake and Theo with a 3rd heartstone also Angels. Like an escaped Angel slave that has no cultivation, so theo teachs her Spirit or something else.

Xiphidion

I'd really like to see Theo wrangle with what makes humans so different. Not the meta stuff with why humans were being transported their and what they're supposed to be doing, but the nuts and bolts of their power. I though when he got his spirit sight he'd be able to figure out things like why can he create vitality so easily.

Xiphidion

now that's something I'd also like to see... we've only ever encountered other human males. I'd be really curious to see how things changed with a human female going through the motions of this universe.

Ding Bang Aw

More crafting of earth tech with magic components like guns, morters. Maybe tanks driven by his kids? Real battles between armies using a strategy. Less of Theo smacking the strongest enemy once, knocking a hole in the wall, and yelling "have fun stormin' the castle" to the horde.

Higher002

I like the idea of going down the path of the orc emperor bringing the other worlds under his sway and picking up abilities that are synergistic with his own skill set. Having a different harem in each planet would also spice things up making it feel like he is less of a kept man.

Hunter Miller

I expect that you'll be covering this, but I hope to see more of Sava's backstory (running away from her arranged marriage and all), as well as Korra's world (and their method of cultivation). Consolidating his abilities is also a good idea (whether that means combining them or something else).

Janee Jeffries

I would definitely like to see more of the different worlds maybe see Theo pick up a another Talent. I've been curious to see if there's going to be any backlash from Korea's guild

Robert Crews

I'd like to hear more from Korea people and the other dwarfs

George

I really like that angel idea, as oppressors and Theo saves someone/ people. Cool concept for planetary conflicts.

I’ve always wondered what it would be like for human women…would they be similar to male humans? Maybe a human woman on a different world, maybe that has humanoid dragonkin? What about Dean being able to occasionally communicate with Theo via astral form (Jedi ghost type stuff)?
