Thx for these. Are we expecting 1440p results? I am interested in MW specifically

Dale Mcneill

when your GPU is at the bottom of the chart , Great work Steve.

Peter

Thanks a lot, after seeing the 1440p results I was worried it would scale even worse at 1080p but it looks like a great choice for a 1080p 240Hz screen

Mark Bryant

Nicely done. Thank you for derailing the hype train: it's so annoying.

GregT

Thanks for the swift reply and all the hard work you put in. Still @work, haven't seen the video so disregard if you have included them but I'd love to see MW fps or future COD games included in benchmarks even if it doesn't have in-game benchmarking tools. Cheers!

ok, coolness. for now, I'll just say, "I know nothing". oh, it is that day, thanks for the RTX30 on AMD testing

Stephen Hunter

nice thanks. all this hype really does hurt the final product in some peoples eyes!

The power draw really bothers me . . . due apparently to the lackluster Samsung 8nm node. Sure my PC can power it and the extra power cost is minimal, but I don't want all that extra heat being pumped into my office or to have to deal with fan noise. I'd love to see how the RTX 3080 performs when capped at 250w or even 200w. Can you keep 90%+ of the performance but cut the power draw by 30%+ ?

Thanks for the hard work that went into this and the video, Steve.

Thanks Steve. Hope your fclk doesn't go in the red lol.

Ben R.

Lackluster node? It's much better than TSMC 7nm node. Much more denser than TSMC can offer.

Thanks mate but not sure what the joke is about the FCLK.

These 1080p results are disappointing it makes the 3080 look like a 2080.2 point release, at least it does well in 4k.
