It’s a reference to that the movie the core idk if yall seen it

David Caine

The Core (2003) with Aaron Eckhart, Hilary Swank was one of the later disaster movies alongside Armageddon, Deep Impact, The Day After Tomorrow, etc. That movie was also one of the most offensive in terms of scientific accuracy that it led to some petition signed by a lot of scientists to create some consulting group to help moviemakers portray better science accuracy in their films. It gets a lot right in terms of how the scientists themselves are portrayed though, compared to the other movies, according to actual scientists like Angela Collier in her channel.
