Would love to pick the new game but hesitant. Cant get the animations to play in Leap of Faith. Hooked on story though. All of my other Renpy games work fine, Validated files, reinstalled, Shift+g to switch renderers.. nothing is working. About to get my money back out of sheer frustration, which is a shame because this is finally a creator that makes a GOOD game with a good story, good choices that just happens to have sex in it! on my side machine i have a gtx 1080 with current drivers. and the game is on an ssd. Any help would be appreciated.

There could be a couple of reasons for it: 1. Leap of Faith runs on an older version of Ren'Py (the game engine) that caused problems for a few users. If this is on Steam, try activating the beta of the new version that runs a newer version Ren'Py. (disable the dlc first if you do and own that). This way you can see if that's what causing your problems. 2. Another user mentioned that his sound-driver caused an issue exactly like this, where updating it fixed the problem. You can check the log.txt file in the installation folder to see any obvious problems.

ive deleted my sound driver, removed dlc and still cant run it. how do i run the beta version?

I won't lie I almost dropped this game immediately after seeing how hideous the MC is, but I'm glad I didn't. Great game looking forward to the next episode.
