An uneventful week when it comes to mishaps, but that's a good thing, and now the intro to this dev update is out of the way.
Render output of the week was 1,427 animated frames and 190 story renders. That means we surpassed the 3k milestone and currently rest at 3,137 story renders and 149 animations.
I'm switching back and forth between the scenes I'm working on to not get bored posing a large group of people in every shot, as it's not the most fun thing to pose.
There's still a lot to do. For animations alone, I have four more lewd scenes to make. Three of them, I've never done before. And one of them, I can guarantee that you've never ever seen in a Daz game. I did a quick test, and the simulation for that scene took 45 minutes pr. frame (as opposed to 45 seconds normally). It means the simulation takes longer than the actual rendering.
But it's a fun scene, and it definitely deserves to be in the game. Hopefully I'm not overshooting my goals, and it's actually possible to make.
RedVault testing is also going fine. Below is an image of RedVault running on SteamOS/Linux. Once that's been properly tested, we're moving on to Mac.
The end goal is to get RedVault on every possible storefront, including Microsoft Store, App Store, Google Play etc. On those storefronts, RedVault will be distributed as an empty launcher where you add developers manually by entering a code. By then, it should be usable on most OSes, including tablets and phones.
At least, that is the long-term end goal.
If you're interested in doing Linux or Mac testing, feel free to reach out, either here or on Discord. As regular users, you usually know all the tips and tricks we Windows users don't.
Anyway, I hope you're all good and have a lovely weekend. And as always, stay safe out there. And let's end on a good note, with Sea contemplating the important things in life, like... how much helium goes into a balloon before it goes boom.
