Which song plays during the bunny slipper dance? Also you'd probably make a killing if you sold bunny slippers as merch. This story really kind of messed with my brain. Contemplating life in general. Was it based on a real event?

What it means to love

The best game I've ever played! And Cece is one of my favorite characters. Thanks very much!

Zeban

Thanks so much, Drifty! I hope you take a break and relax for the next week or so. I'm sure you pushed yourself to get the final release out. You deserve some time to de-stress :)

Andrew Saltmer

I've got my Kitchen Roll ready for the tears I'm bound to shed. Ordinary tissues will not do, :-)

Andrew Saltmer

Congratulations Drifty on completing what I am sure will be played long and hard well into the future. This quality of this story sets a bar for any other Developer to try and achieve.

Kuke

Damn, it's hard to believe it's coming to an end. I don't know when I'll be able to sit down and play, but i am extremely excited for it. Thank you for all the effort you put into your game.

Otto Rhino

Whatever the end of the story, this game will have been a great adventure and a great story. Thank you very much and I wish you that the next game will be as thrilling and as successful.

Jay Masters

Congratulations on the last release for the game Drifty! It has been a long emotional road. Sad it’s coming to the end but this has been one of the greatest VNs in history. Cannot wait to play tonight.

Justin Peck

My brain: "Hmm, what am I going to do tonight?" *Sees this post pop up as a notification*. Me: "Hold my beer"

Slade

Ready to cry happy tears :,)

DuVeL67

Congratulations and Thank you! I'm so excited to play the last chapter but also dreading the end of the story,, I don't want it to be over.

xCooler2

a new folder with -steam appended has been created in the save location. I guess you have to copy your saves there. I guess ...

sweetlou35

my saves aren't loading either :(

Justin Peck

That worked! thanks so much!

Screwed

tonymack21

djkunn

Congrats Drifty

Michael O.

I'm going to have a hard time concentrating during today's X-crawl session this evening ... and at work Sunday. I do hope I can finish one story before surgery Monday.

Dónaill

Congrats and proper respect for finishing this huge project.

Stuart Dollar

Awesome. I look forward to playing Chapter 8 with my CeCe run through of Chapters 1-7. Then on to Linda (I'm a sucker for hard luck cases). Congratulations on achieving what was obviously a long labor of love.

Richard Dunn

Honestly one of the best AVN's i've ever played. I'm so glad that i discovered this game, this story and these characters. I think it'll honestly take some serious effort for me to find another story more genuine and more well-crafted. Thank you for telling this story and I wish you the very best of luck going forward, I very much look forward to seeing what comes next.

James B.

Thank you, Drifty! All your hard work is greatly appreciated!

James B.

xCooler2, where do you find that save location?

Blacklabyrinth

Thanks Drifty! I can't wait to see how the stories end (Gonna have to do them all). Hopefully you get a much deserved break.

Alduran

Its 3:30 AM now. I have finished your story. Thank you for the wonderful time.

Stuart Dollar

Congratulations. The best thing I can say about Leap of Faith is that it transcended the limitations of the genre. Best AVN ever, and it's not close, either. Biggest gut punch since Acting Lessons.

Deejub

I am most grateful -- but all my saves result in an exception when I try to load them. Perhaps I am missing something???

VaWLE

Hmmm. When I tap on the link to the download links Patreon throws me back to the main page. Strange.

Rupam Kundu

Can't Thank you enough!!

Are you playing on steam or patreon version? If I may suggest, I have the patreon version myself and my saves seem to be mostly screwed up too. However, if you make a save at the chapter end screen, it might work fine. It sure did for me. So you could try booting up previous version of the game, play to the end of the chapter screen (where you click between the girl portraits), make a new save file and try loading this one in the latest version. Also, some of my saves worked fine, they just loaded me in a different screen, so you could just keep trying with your other saves. Hope it helps. :)

Hi Drifty! I guess I don't have much to add to what others have already said. Even though I discovered this game only recently, it's an absolute masterpiece and one of the very best out there. Can't wait what you come up with next! That said, as others mentioned, I hope you'll also take some well deserved break. I think the fans know by now what you're capable of delivering and they will be happy to wait for your next project! :) If I may make just some suggestions - in case you'll release a patch at some point, it would be nice to add some save management quality of life options. :) This game begs you to do multiple playthroughs, but as a person who likes to utilize saves a lot, it becomes a pain to keep them organized. I'd love to see features like: - Skipping more than one save page at a time (e.g. click to move ~5-10 pages back/forward) => this one is the most important. - Perhaps some "go to page number"? Haven't seen this before, so not sure if it can be implemented. - More than 6 saves on a single page? - Maybe even longer save names (they are fairly short). These are minor things of course, but I believe they would help a lot with the game longevity. Cheers and take care. And thank you for this gem!

Muneeb Asad

Snip's suggestion of updating the saves works!

Roger_Welco

Just finished my first plan through with Lexi. Thank you for finishing the story in style and giving me so much joy and tears in what is one, if not the best VN out there. Looking forward to the future and your next project. Thank you. Update: just finished the Cece story arc. Thank you for a great ending.

Deejub

And it sure does. Many thanks!

Cyke

I just installed 1.0 on my MAC its a new file, how do i move save files over so I don't have to restart?

snip_cz

glad I could help!

Michael O.

Well, the wait was worth it ^_^ One down, a few to go. The one I finished was beautiful and touching and I loved all the wrap-ups throughout. I have to admit, I did a full playthrough of the final release on Steam. I don't think I can do that again. I can't imagine I would have had problems if I hadn't played the first seven chapters in the before times, but it definitely made for a dissonance as each scene started. I feel for Drifty on that front. Still, can't wait to experience the rest of the conclusions. Stocking up on tissues. Thanks again for a wonderful and touching game.

Stuart Dollar

I'll admit I pretty much blubbered like a baby from about Chapter 6 on playing the CeCe path.

George Peters

Congratulations! Thank you for sharing a wonderful story. Leap of Faith is the measuring stick I use for all mature games! Looking forward to the future of gaming and DriftyGames!

Michael O.

Alright, there was one more I couldn’t wait to finish … my solution was to do a speed run of the first 7 chapters. I couldn’t force myself past all the scenes (cause onion ninjas), and of course there are some events you can’t speed by, but got back to the last chapter in less that two hours. It was worth the effort … and I MIGHT do it again, but not immediately.

Matthew Paulus

Seeing the final update notice really made my day. I finished out Cece's path as soon as Steam finished downloading the update. Then when my girlfriend got up I played through it again. We've been playing it together. I think Cece and Lexi are her favorites. The next day, I started a new playthrough to see how things have changed. The music selections being different are hitting a little different, but I think you made good choices working with what you had. I've noticed a few typos and grammar errors (I'm playing it with the voice reader on, so any spelling errors really stand out. For example it doesn't pronounce Cece's name like "See-See". It says "sease", rhymes with crease. I've always read it as "See-See/C-C", short for Cecilia. A few other's just looked like a slip of the finger on the keyboard. That's minor though. I'm just really happy that the music is back! Though I'll admit I've been cheating a little with the music by turning the game music off, and playing the old songs in the background with my MP3 player. :D Take THAT obnoxious copyright claim! I noticed that Michael Shynes and Katrina Stone's music is not in the game. I hope at some point you can work out a deal with them. I literally would NEVER have known about their music if it hadn't been for Leap Of Faith. Looking forward to your next game Drifty, Matthew Paulus

Deejub

I am on my third playthrough now, just having entered chapter 7 again. I cried... again. I don't think I am crying for a character in a vdeo game -- I think I cried for real people I knew at least a little bit and for real people (one in particular) who I have never met... and for a wonderful, complex character in a video game who represents them. Thanks, thanks, thanks.

Ellis Hall

Honestly this game is better than any other of its kind, it has everything from complex characters and an amazing soundtrack to an emotional and all-round amazing story. I hope that there is more to come with these characters because you really do a great job in connecting them with the player. Thanks for this amazing experience I'm praying there's more to come.

Michael AM 11

Fantastic Game Drifty. Thank you so much. CeCe's ending was my favorite!

ShaneDucharmeMusic

I downloaded it as soon as I got home from work and thankfully had the next day off. Amazing way to close out this amazing story Drifty! So far I have completed CeCe’s, Lexi’s, Linda’s, Stephanie’s and the Robin/Kira endings. Loved them all and each one caused happy tears mixed in with laughs and sad tears, but all worth it! No spoilers, but one ending did surprise me and thank you Drifty for that wonderful surprise. A few endings to go while looking forward to your next work. Cheers and blessings Drifty.

McAllister

Awesome game Drifty, Loved it! Thanks for the great Cece ending!!!

sakulman115

Just finished Cece ending, great job. I was not able to get my saves to transfer over, however.

Beautiful Bro

Fantastic. Well worth the wait. Before playing this I thought games like this were all just smut and I was fine with it, but there's just so much heart in this. There's so much lacklustre stuff out there, it's a real standout. Thank you.

Bob Fink

This was such an amazing game and story and the ending was pure perfection!
