Currently working on the smoke physics but in the meantime here are some important bugfixes. Also updated the Physics Mod to the latest snapshot.

IMPORTANT Snow Physics Information: Optifine is not supported (use Iris + Sodium on Fabric/Oculus + Rubidium on Forge). High render distances on slow CPUs might result in delayed snow tracks.

IMPORTANT Liquid Physics information: https://pastebin.com/E9dMD9MZ

Bugfixes:

  • Added popup to reset options in the menu to avoid resetting everything with a misclick
  • Fixed a crash when the selected cape had a faulty 3D model
  • Fixed a bug causing animations to not save properly

Is there a way to set a maximum render distance for snow? I have a world with lots of snow and having it rendered in all the chunks really slows down the game

Haubna

No since it would introduce really ugly artifacts. The snow shouldn't impact performance by a lot though.
