DollHouse #11 | update (Patreon)

I want to share part of my creative process for writing DollHouse chapters.

• I started by writing some outlines (three, to be specific) to set up the scenes, mood, and reference pictures. The pages marked in light red indicate the spicier scenes so I can pace the rhythm and not keep you waiting too long for the hot moments.

• Next, I create the thumbnails. There’s no detail here, just rough sketches.

• After that, I write the dialogue. At this stage, changes might occur for the sake of the narrative.

• I use the rough sketches to arrange the dialogues and make adjustments to the final page. I already have a video tutorial for lettering: Video: Basic Lettering Layout.

• Then I move on to the detailed sketch, line art, coloring, and lettering.

That’s all for the DollHouse updates for now. I would’ve liked to have the first pages ready, but I prefer to get everything prepared to avoid future delays.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I plan to remake some of my older video tutorials, and I’ll use these pages to make that happen. The first pages will be ready by next Friday, so stay tuned!
