BUBBLES (Patreon)

‘Haha, yeah, we called her Bubbles. She must a swam her way through the Bay of Plaque to get here, Wyrms like her are a rare sight in these parts.
The way those eyes would bulge up to the surface of her skin, well, they were just like bubbles. You know how cocky one of them things has to be to have that many eyes? They can shift any part of themselves, grow more claws, more teeth. But eyes? That’s just a vulnerability. She liked to boast like that, play with her food and mess with them a lil. It wasn’t until one day she made her way out of the arena and into the watching audience, head honcho herself had to come down and deal with her.
I won’t lie, I liked Bubbles, one of the more interesting creatures we kept down below the colosseum. Always made the day just that more exciting. I tell you though, I swear when it happened I saw a little bit of her slither away, a sliver of flesh that inched away and down into a storm drain. Maybe she’s still out there, I don’t know. I just hope she doesn’t hold any grudges.’

The creature was a fan favourite, and after her death her head was mounted in the arena waiting room. There have been some reports of the dead beast blinking its milky eyes, but the credibility of these accounts are sceptical at best.
