Another game update! 🌱 (Patreon)

Hey everyone! Wanted to give you another update on how the project is turning out, what’s in the works, and what to expect soon!

first of all, I wanted to say thank you for your continued support! It’s very frustrating to not have visual stuff to share with you all, but progress is being made at an incredible rate! So much of my time has been spent on more admin related tasks (as well as stuff like writing! I am 52 pages and 10k words deep into the story document for the game!) but that sort of stuff I can’t just upload an image to show you. So I thought I’d drop another update - here’s what’s been going on!

My work: right now, as mentioned, I’ve been revising the story for the game. This, out of everything, is the thing I’m most excited to share with you. It’s big, and sad, and is full of blood, dragons, demons, scientists, broken hearts, robots, betrayal, and of course, hope. As well as the story, I have 8 relics in the works! For those of you who missed my last post, relics are the magic items of Last Sprout that you’ll be able to collect to learn more about the world.
I also asked you guys about spoilers, and I appreciate your feedback! From now on, all big artworks I will mark with a spoiler warning, but I won’t be including any of the lore for the artwork - you’ll have to wait for the demo for that ;) as well as this there’s def gonna be a lot of stuff I’m going to keep a secret until the actual game releases. But I’ll share as much with you as I feel I can without you missing out on the excitement of discovering it for yourself when the game is out!

I’ve also been working on a key illustration - our title screen. In fact, I’ve included a little snippet of it here. I’ll be sharing this with you when it’s done, and I’m very excited to show you all :}

And that’s where we are right now! As I’m sure you can tell, we’re very busy, very excited, and so many things are getting made, improved, and put into place! the website will most likely be the next biggest update we have for you guys and I hope you’re excited! And keep your eyes peeled for these Relics (or if you want to go in to the game blind, look away! Look away!)

But, again, thank you for your support. I am only able to keep on top of this thanks to your support - I’ve stopped taking commissions so right now you lovely people are my only source of income! If I can be so cheeky - please tell your friends if you’re excited about this! Let people know, point them here so they can look at all the artwork! (or if you can, please consider upping your pledge! Of course there is no stress or expectation to, but it really goes a long long way!!) any support i can get helps me out so so much, and I owe everything that is happening in my life right now to you.
