Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and we are now officially less than TWO WEEKS AWAY from The Ten Worst Songs of 2025! I'll share more about "Worst Songs Week" in a separate post tomorrow. OH, also, I've answered all the Q&A questions from Friday, so feel free to go read those and add more to it if you'd like, after you've watched this video about in which Canada's said to grocery stores: "SEND IN THE CLONES!"

They say "people fear that which they don't understand", but social media should change that to "people fearmonger that which they know other idiots don't understand". Buckley looks at Canada's recent decision to consider beef from a "cloned cow" the same as beef from an animal made the... traditional... way (a decision the US made 20 years ago but no one knows that) and all of the people losing their minds. Are they right to beef over this? Or is it a bunch of bull? More puns in the video!

Cloned Beef: A Bunch of Bull (Extra Dose)

now i have to find out about Australia, if they can clone a cow they can clone me too.

On an unrelated note; I don’t like beyond meat. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

Shaka, When the Walls Fell

Considering some of the slop (meat) that gets passed as food, as long as it's affordable and edible, people wouldn't complain if the livestock was raised through necromancy.

Pete Spicer

Should have ended on 'udder bull' as the closer, but otherwise, very good.

A Dose of Buckley

I had already used "bull" as the title, so I didn't want to repeat the same joke.

Adam F

I never would have expected a Guy Montgomery mention on this channel.

Honk22

Very late, but I'm from NZ. Never heard of Guy Mont though.

A Dose of Buckley

He's a New Zealand stand-up comedian, he was on a season of your version of Taskmaster, and he hosts a show called "Guy Montgomery's Guy Mont-spelling Bee" which has had 2 seasons.

Oleg Chanba

This made me chuckle, thank you bro.

Matthew

As long as I know what they are using to make this cloned meat and it's not going to cause me any health problems if eaten in moderation, who cares i guess. Also I guess Brave New World would have been a bit too obscure in regards to cloning humans.

Alexa Franklin

I honestly was expecting the photo of the 3D printed meat to be “impossible” meat.

Holly Campbell

Frankenbeef sounds like a Syfy channel movie

I very clearly remember Katt Williams saying in one of his specials in 2008 or 2009 that the US government had approved the sale of cloned meat to the general public. It's something I've actually thought of quite often ever since then. As an American, I can't help but think maybe that's part of what's really wrong with our population. We are notoriously unhealthy with food that damages us; maybe DON'T copy our example.

This is actually pretty similar to the photo estrogen scare with tofu and soy products. Just because the name has estrogen in it a lot of “alpha males” thinks it lowers testosterone and makes you a beta when there is literally no evidence for it and much evidence disproving it. And these people can vote!
