Drag Race is a reality TV competition like no other. You are expected to be or become a star, and fans have a LOT of expectations. If you say one wrong thing against someone’s fave, you could be villainized. Plenty of queens have even been sent death threats for sneezing in the wrong direction. A great example is Brita, who people didn’t like because she was a “bully” but in reality she was just making good tv. People HATE her and she’s being bullied off of platforms.
