All Stars 6: Rumerican Horror Story & Scarlet Speaks Out!

► All Stars 6 Episode 6 Review: Rumerican Horror Story & Oh My Goth! Runway | Hot or Rot? ►JOIN MY PATREON: https://www.patreon.com/bussyqueen Hi Ugly! In today's episode of Hot or Rot we review and react to episode 6 of Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars 6! Our AS6 queens were challenged to act in the parody sketch "Rumerican Horror Story" and on the runway, the category was "Oh My Goth!". This episode was judged my Rupaul, Michelle Visage, Ross Matthews, and Emma Roberts. After breaking the runways down, we take a deeper look at the acting challenge and decide: was it fair? And at the end of today's video we look at an exit interview with Scarlet Envy. What did she REALLY think about her "Uncomfortable" critique? I feel she has misconstrued why Ru felt uncomfortable. I felt it wasn’t the beautiful story that made it odd, it was the weird joking and in between comments that juxtaposed badly against the realness of the story. Similar to Jan not stripping back the drag persona and revealing the true self.

yes AGREED. Scarlet overacting her vulnerable story was the uncomfortable part. It was cringey to watch her put on a face, even Ross called it out exactly. I thought that both him and Ru were very clear on why it was uncomfortable and that she misconstrued their critiques…

I think that if they wanted the real person and not the character, they should have done this challenge as their boy or girl self, not as drag queens. They are a different character when they are dressed up, and maybe that's why some queens like Jan and Scarlet found it difficult to be "real" all the time.
