Am I a king or a jester? I’ve been sitting on this throne for centuries, it seems. Waiting. For what? For my ruling to finally start. Now I wish for it to end. I have tricked everyone, the whole land believed a stray wizard was their true king.

This throne is so heavy, so overwhelming. Why can’t I stand up? I am but a vessel. Hollow husk bound to this illusory fate. What was my true destiny? Not to sit on a chair for all eternity. I was ambitious and brave. Who was I? Where did I come from? I don’t even remember…

This mask… is it a disguise or my real face? I am no one… I am a mere reflection of how they see me.
