They left me by the roadside to rot. Broken, disemboweled, unable to move. Rain poured down heavily on me, suffocating and invigorating me at the same time. My consciousness was fading away. The last thing I felt before passing out was someone grabbing me by my legs and dragging me in an unknown direction.

That was the day I died, and that was the day I was reborn as something entirely different. I don’t feel pain, hunger, or fatigue. My body is now a breathless corpse. Yet my mind is vibrant and uncluttered. My mode of thought has never been so sharp and agile. It’s like my consciousness is being filled up with knowledge directly from the universe. I have no doubts. I can't be wrong. I am mind incarnate.
